Into the unknown

Peter and the Avengers were currently out fighting against a weird alien creature. They would fire this beam of light at them at to say it confused the Avengers would be an understatement.

"Be careful kid," Mr Stark voices through the coms, as Peter edges closer to the thing.

The thing was distracted firing his beams at Captain America that he didn't notice Peter approach.

He jumps down from the ceiling and onto his back, making the thing fall to the floor.

Peter pins him but is pushed off, sending Peter flying into the opposite wall.

Peters spidey senses go off just as he feels a burning sensation in his chest and his head swim in confusion.

Darkness clouds his vision as Peter falls to the floor hearing someone shout his name before everything went dark.

Tony could see Peter get flung back into the wall, he flew quickly towards him, but he was too late.

A beam hits Peter square in the chest, he stumbles back and Tony shouts Peters name as he falls to the floor.

Tony lands next to him, Tony can see the thing is being taken out by the others.

Tony steps out of his suit and runs over to his Kid.

Peter has blood coming from his chest, Tony pulls off his mask to see Peters eyes shut and blood running down from his nose.

Tony starts to shake him praying to Odin that he wakes up, "Petey come on buddy wake up," Tony mumbles feeling dread settle in the pit of his stomach as Peter doesn't stir.

The others run over to them and see Tony's tear stained face, within seconds everyone has tears rolling down their faces.

"Tones, we need to get back. To get Peter help," Steve says placing a hand on Tonys shoulder.

Tony nods silently picking up his kid and holding him close.

As soon as we land Pete is taken away from Tony, and into the med bay.

Tony follows closely behind but gets told he has to wait outside.

After an hour of waiting but feeling more like years Bruce steps out, confusion and worry evident on his face.

"Is he okay, is my kid alright?" Tony questions hurriedly.

He looks to Tony and begins, "we stitched up his chest so that should be okay, but he isn't waking up. He isn't in a coma and he isn't brain dead. I checked his brain waves and they are going crazy, it's like he is awake, it's more than just dreaming. I'm sorry Tony but I don't know how to wake him up, we tried everything," Bruce voices looking down at the end.

Tony feels his world crash down around him at those words.

One of the things Tony can wonder is, what the Hell is happening to Peter right now.

"Peter. It's time to wake up, you have school to get to" Peter hears a familiar voice calling out.

What the Hell, Peter thinks to himself.

He cracks his eyes open and sees Aunt May stood there, looking down at him.

Peter sits up and feels his head pound, he starts to panic slightly remembering May is on a trip around the world and last time he checked he was on a mission with the avengers.

"Come on hun you need to leave in 10 or you'll be late" May says impatiently.

Peter gets up with shaky legs and walk over to his bathroom, as soon as he enters he splashes water on his face.
