"COME ON, SO DID YOU KISS HER?"

She nodded.

Missy squealed excitedly. "AH! You did!" She clapped her hands as the group of girls looked over at the teacher in the dinner line, "then what?!"

"She didn't look me in the eye after that. And then the trip ended and so did the term. I didn't think I'd see her again." Nas said defeatedly. "Then we start here and . . here she is." She said almost dreamily.

Turns out, Nas not only had a crush on the new teacher, Miss Shariff, but also had a fling with her at her old school! That's right, Nas had a thing with someone, and not just anyone — but a teacher.

"Safe to say, cougar?" Marnie said, taking a drink from her water bottle.

"Shut up!" Nas shoved her arm across the table, cause her to spill the drink. "I like her. I really like her. I don't even — she won't even talk to me unless it's about homework or sommat."

"Just talk to 'er," Missy said plainly. "Y'know . . you say sommat,"

"She says sommat," Marnie yawned.
She hasn't slept much last night with all the things going on - one of the main ones being curiosity if Jordan's baby was ok and had been looked after. Did they ever take him out of the gym bag? Was he fed? Who changed his nappy?

Then her brain said, Marnie, why are you worrying? He's not even your kid. You don't even like kids that much. Stop worrying.

Nas wanted to roll her eyes at the two. "I know how talking works."

Missy ended up shoving Nas to go speak to the teacher while Marnie focused on filling in the rest of her answers for her homework due. It were only English but she hadn't had time to do it yesterday 'cause she had work, but thankfully, she was off tonight and tomorrow, so she could relax and do whatever she pleased. If she didn't have much homework to do. "I'm going to get another drink," she announced, getting in line.

She was able to bunk with Raz and Hayley but was annoyingly accompanied by their new member of the group, Chloe Voyle, Miss Keane's daughter. Marnie shoved her hands in her pockets as she greeted the two. "What's going on?"

Jordan Wilson was sent to the back of the line by a dinner lady before they could answer, having bunked in front and grumbled and complained. "I only wanted a muffin."

Chloe seemed drawn to the boy as she made an effort to flirt with him, causing the 6th Form to roll her eyes. Were she lookin' to being baby mumma number 2?

And at the thought of babies, she was yet to get an update on how handling the baby situation went down. "I been meaning to speak to you, actually."

Chloe paused at the girl interrupting them whilst Jordan's eyes seemed to light up as she addressed him. "Y-yeah? What is it?"

"Alright, girls," a smooth voice also interrupted, squeezing past their group that made him look even taller than he already was. His gaze followed the one standing with her arms crossed and legs exposed out from her skirt.

Marnie made sure to back so far away that his blazer didn't even graze her. "Disgusting." Missy had told Marnie he was supposedly texting Alya already — ALYA!

"Don't act like you love me."

Jordan looked like he was annoyed having his brother interrupt them, Chloe looked mesmerised at the sight of Cory and Marnie looked unimpressed at her. She was yet to learn what a dog he was. "I weren't talkin' to ya."
