Linda flor (Camilo x reader)

Hello there-

Voices. Could slightly hear voices. But not being able to make out what they were saying.

Who knows how long afterwards maybe a few hours or so the voices start to be become a bit clearer. "Did you think y/n will be okay?" "Yeah, could take a bit though to heal fully but I'm trying my best here" "thank you, thank you thank you."

It was two woman talking together one of the voices was mama and the other? Some things still felt a bit blurry and strange.

A bit later, my body starts to feel more better and being able to open eyes. The room is quiet except for some mumbling. Starting to slowly open up eyes the light of room feeling a bit to bright but being able to do with it before seeing Julieta and mama next to me. Julieta seemed to be giving me some sort of juice?

When mama burst out happily, "y/n! You're awake-! Oh you had us worried sick..!!" She said hugging me tightly tears rolling down her eyes. "Ow mama, to tight-" I struggled replying

"Oh right sorry." Mama let go and wiped off her tears. "Oh y/n how are you feeling I'm sorry I can't heal you better then I could have if I still had my gift. But I'm trying with the little I have. You do seem to be a bit better then you where when we found you." Julieta put down the cup of juice and seemed worried

What ended up happening again? Then it all came flooding back the dinner disaster, casita breaking and falling and then something falling on top of me and voices, and now this.

"I do feel better honestly then earlier. Gracies doña Julieta." Slightly smiling I replied. She smiled back looking a bit more relieved just a bit.

"Well then Julieta thank you so much again and for leaving me some food that will help her if you want you can leave for now and come stay later? You guys do need a place to stay and we do have a few extra rooms not being used." Mama asked

"Why that would be great but I don't wanna be a bother." Julieta replied softly "what bother!? You saved my daughter and if there's anyway to repay you this could hopefully be the way?" Mama gave a half smile.

"I'll think about it." Julieta smiled then pulled mama aside whispered something in her ear and mama nodded. What could she had said?

"Well if you want I can show you the foods you could give y/n to feel better." Julieta said to mama. "Oh sure!" Mama replied and they headed towards the door "y/n I'll be right back" mama said before she and Julieta left the room closing the door. Silence

Something felt off. What could have julieta said to mama? My vision seemed to feel a bit better and soon I noticed something I didn't before. I was wearing camilos poncho. How-

Suddenly the door quickly burst open. It was Camilo

"Y/n!! He ran over to me and softly put his hands on my face looking at my face, "are you feeling better!? You don't seem to look that hurt on the face anymore... how are you feeling?!"

He looked worried sick, looked tried, how long was I unconscious for?

"Camilo I'm okay, or well feeling better now." I put my hand on top of his, he looked at me for a bit then looked upset. "Idiota." He said then took his hands off my face. "What?" I asked confused "did you just call me an idio-"

"Y/n I told you to leave! And yet you didn't and now look at you! You you! You're and idiot!" He looked upset his eyes started tearing up then he looked over at and we made eye contact.

"Camilo.." I started he then held my hand and gently rubbed it. "I'm sorry. It's been odd right now I was just.. scared of losing you. And it's been so hard right now trying to always be cheerful for the family and make everyone happy."

"Camilo hey.." gently spoke then wiped away the tears from his face, " you don't always have to be cheerful for your family.. you can feel upset as well. Don't feel like you always have to make them smile when something bad happens because you're probably feeling the same way they are upset and worried.."

He didn't say anything else but closed his eyes and put his hand over mine letting it rest there. 

It was a nice moment then saying. "Oh would you like your poncho back?" I asked he looked at me, "it's fine you can keep on for a bit longer you look like you enjoy wearing it." He replied

It was true. I did enjoy wearing it

"Thanks" I replied and smiled closing my eyes for a bit, Camilo put his hand back on my face. "Hey y/n can you open your eyes?" Camilo asked  he sounded a bit nervous "sure? What's up?" I said opening my eyes.

His face was a bit closer to mine his face features seemed really clear and pretty now though. Blushing a bit and seeing him blush as well before asking, "what'd you want me to open my eyes up for?"

He didn't say anything for a bit but just gently rubbed his thumb on my face before leaning in a bit closer our foreheads about to touch. "Uh, hey.." feeling my face heat up more not knowing what to say or do. I looked down trying to avoid eye contact when Camilo lightly put his hand under my chin and lifted it up so we made eye contact again. Our faces got even closer our lips about an inch away about to touch when the door opens and mama comes back in the room...

Camilo quickly backed away face bright red and didn't say anything. Mama just looked confused but then said "Camilo you talked to  y/n I see" she happily exclaimed. He just nodded, "yup! Well I got some things I gotta do see you later." He quickly said then left the room.
