Chapter 19

                                                                                    June 2, 2020

                         Today was a bad day. I went shopping with Rachy and spent around 300 dollars. She didn't spend nearly as much as me but I suppose I'll just have the better wardrobe. Anyways, the weirdest thing happened. We were at the foodcourt, about to get lunch, when she suddenly ran straight into this skanky girl wearing sweats. Who in their right mind would dress like that in public!? The girl dropped all her stuff and it was SO embarrassing. To get us away from that situation I simply said, 'Aw look who didn't get enough sleep last night. I think daycare is the other way sweetie.' and I tried to pull Rachy away. Then all of a sudden, she got down on the ground and started helping this girl pick up her stuff! Insane, I know!!! Ugh. I was in total disgust, I mean this girls outfit looked like it was 30 dollars, tops! I kept telling Rachy to come on, but she just kept ignoring me! If that wasn't bad enough, they started having a FULL blown conversation. Here, I'll give you the overview of how it went.

Rachy: hey, sorry !!

Skank: oh no, it's my fault

Rachy: sweet moon, is your charm bracelet from Gilmore Girls?

Skank: wow, it is !!! its like my fav show

Rachy: same !! hey, whats your name? I've never seen you around before

Skank: Oh, I'm Lucy. I'm actually new here, I'm transferring to Moonbay on monday

Rachy: No way, that's where I go to school !

Skank: Really?

Rachy: Yes !!

Major ugh, am I right? Then it gets even WORSE. I politely suggested that me and Rachy go before all the freaks show up at the food court and then Rachy invited her. I told her not to but she just  pulled me aside and started yelling at me! I had to remind her of all the shit we went through to become popular and she still didn't care! At this point I was totally humiliated that our own best friend would risk our social status over some hobo she knocked into from the streets! Then Rachy started whisper-screaming about how Lucy was us one short year ago and blah blah blah. Anyways, she somehow managed to drag me over to her and since I'm a nice person I introduced myself to the birdbrain and not only is she weird, she kept making stupid jokes that made Rachy die laughing! It was AWFUL!!! To make matters even worse, she invited the braindead freak to sit with us at lunch in school. I don't know what we're going to do about her, but I guess the only thing we can do is try to fix her up. (As a backup plan if Rachy is still insistent on having her sit with us) I just don't know what to do anymore. It's like Rachel is purposely plotting against us, like she wants to make us lose everything! When you get back we need to have a serious talk with her. Maybe we'll sit her down and have an intervention. Maybe this is just a cry for help. I've noticed she's been eating more lately, like 3 or 4 times a day PLUS dessert! Things are getting so out of whack without you. Not to mention that Rachy made a groupchat with the 3 of us and is planning on inviting you to it when you get back. I really think that we're gonna have to do some serious work on this bozo. Maybe we can cut her hair, or even dye it blonde. I'm not really sure, you've always been more of the fashion icon. Anyways, we really miss you. I'm sorry that I haven't been writing, things have gotten so busy around here (and really weird if you couldn't tell) Oh, and some guy literally came up to me and asked me if I was friends with Rachy, then asked me where she lived!!! How creepy, right?! I told him to buzz off but I'm pretty sure I saw him staring at Rachel at the food court. I don't know though, it could have just been my imagination. (This happened last week at the mall) But I definitely couldn't tell her, don't want that going straight to her head. So yeah, that's pretty much it. Love you girly!! I really hope you come back soon.
