A/N: hello readers it's been a while. I'm not dead. Sorry for 2 or 3 years of no new chapters. Writer block is a b. Couldn't come up up with anything for Tohsaka. So in the meantime, I tried to improve my knowledge of the Nasuverse a little. Remember hard work pays off. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.

9:00, 21st of August, 1940
Currently, me & the boys plus spiritual Avenger, the Edelfelts, and Yves have separated into groups in Fuyuki to gather information. James helped us all with his illusions to blend into the crowd so the patrols couldn't find us. The caveat is that it only lasted ten minutes. Usually, James doesn't have to hold it for this long for all five of us so it takes him thirty minutes to replenish his od. We maneuvered through Fuyuki in between these intervals with Frank's portals. Eventually, James detected multiple bits of mana in a mansion, and around it was a strong bounded field. We noted this in a log and moved as far from it as possible.

10:00 AM, 21st of August, 1940, Showa Period
The Tohsaka family, one of the three great families of Fuyuki. One of the families that created that helped create grail system. They provided the funds. They are always in it. I was one of them. My name is Tohsaka Ren. I'm 24, a master, and a mage of the fire element. I studied at clocktower before Germany's war started. Even finished top of my element.
Enough about me, I am currently awaiting a package from Finland. They should be here soon. I waited about an hour before I detected a mana source at the edge of the bounded field near the front door. I headed there, making sure to wear my finest suit.
"Welcome Edelfelt sisters to the Tohsaka mansion. My apologies for the rough ride here. My name is Tohsaka Ren. you may call me Tohsaka"
A man of class, truly splendid. Apology accepted. My name is Inkeri but you already knew that~" Inkeri crawled her fingers up his arm. She makes me uncomfortable. She could be attractive in a way. She carries a bag with her.
"M-m-my name is Aliisa Edelfelt, nice to meet you" she bows. She was the innocent one by default. Also very cute. Probably younger.
"Boring! You need more pep in your step, SIs!" the bold one said.
"I am trying my hardest here!" said the shy one.
"Ehem! Let me take you inside so we can talk in private." I said to them. I detected a familiar come in with them. Must be their servant.
I prepared some tea I got imported from china, hard to come by nowadays.
"You don't need to hide your servant away from me, I am the one who gave you the catalyst as a sign of peace between our countries."
Aliisa motioned her hand and revealed an old man with graying hair wearing long white and purple robes and wearing a red haori. He had two katanas strapped to his waist in sheaths of course. He was reading a book that I recognized, the book of five rings. He was sitting in seiza while reading it. The book of five rings was the catalyst.
"Back to business, my catalyst if you will, Lady Inkeri," I said in a polite tone. This was a diplomatic meeting after all.
"You bore me Tohsaka. Here, a spearhead of a nordic hero," Inkeri pulls out of it her bag. It appears rusted and chipped but still intact, about what you expect from something from the Age of Gods.
Aliisa takes the last sip of her tea which makes Inkeri stand up. I escort them on the way out because they can't open the bounded field.
Inkeri said one final thing before they left, "We may be neutral but that doesn't mean we are weak. After all, we know your servant's true name," she implied that as a threat as to not betray their trust.
I enter the mansion to go to the basement. There I prepare a circle of iron. I place the catalyst in the middle. I prick my finger to initiate the summoning. I begin the chant.
"Let my blood be the lighter,"
"Connect the gateways of the heavens and the mortal plane,"
"Beckon my command,"
"Let your glory shine through,"
"Your steel shall become mine,"
"Make us meet here and become master and servant,"
"Hear my call, Lancer!"
A bright light shines through the whole room and almost pushes me to the ground but I withstand the pressure. I see a figure of golden light appear to descend from the ceiling and pick up a lance of golden light. The figure takes the form of a young girl with black hair and a white robe. She has a golden shield and white wings attached to her.
"My name is Valkyrie. I have been summoned by you to...Eh- You're human. That's a surprise."
"You say that as if that isn't normal," I retort
"Something is wrong here," she paces back and forth. She starts to stare into the wall as if she was battling her inner demons.
She then grabs me by the shoulders and asks a strange question.
"Where is the chicken?!"
