'Oh my fucking god, me and Ranboo were about to kiss!' I panicked in my head while my cheeks began to blush. I then went into a room upstairs still obeying Clay's rule, and locked the door. I sighed and began to mess with my hair, trying to get my mind off....the moment.
I kept messing around with my hair until I heard a knock on the door, I stayed sat down on the floor. "y/n? Open up it's me Drista." She said and I opened it. She walked in and closed the door behind her, she sat down next to me with a smirk.
"So you and Ranboo huh?" She said and I began to blush, I scoffed and threw a pillow at her face. She began to laugh loudly and my blush kept getting redder from the embarrassment. "Shut the fuck up Drista!" I said groaning as the laughing kept going.
"Oh man, I can't believe I interrupted your first kiss to tell you that your mom dropped off a present." She said and I turned my head to her. "What?" "Yeah Alexis dropped off a present for you, Clay gave it to me before the dj came." She said nonchalant.
"Where is it exactly?" I asked her and she smiled before standing up. "Follow me." She opened the door, I looked down the hallways making sure Ranboo wasn't around before leaving.
We began to walk downstairs avoiding the large crowd and into my room, she closed the door and pointed to my bed. I looked over and saw a box, I walked over and opened it. Inside was a frame of my mother and my other parents smiling, I smiled and my eyes watered a little.
"She also had a note to give you." Drista said handing me a note, I opened it and began to read it. 'I have seen how he looks at you, while we were hugging I saw him looking through the window. Kinda creepy I think, but in his eyes I could tell he cared for you. If you know him or not he cares a lot, he was wearing a black and white mask from what I remember. I sighed with a smile, I looked up at Drista and she hugged me. "Happy Christmas Eve big bro." She said and I hugged her back, we both laughed a little letting go. She opened my door and I set up the photo frame, before leaving my room.
We walked up and I saw Ranboo, we both stared at each other for awhile and Drista did an awkward chuckle before walking around him. "Hey Mr Boo." "Hey y/n, I came to apologize for the....thing. If you don't accept it there is nothing wrong with that." He told me with a sigh and I got an idea.
"Oh no need to apologize, but could you do me a favor and get Drista for me? We have to do something." I told him and he nodded leaving for a little before coming back with Drista. "Dris follow me I have a plan." I whispered to her and she nodded. "Hey Ranboo we're going out for a little, when I call you could you meet me under the Golden Gate Bridge?"
He nodded with some confusion in his eyes, I nodded before bolting down the stairs. Drista walked around the crowd, I walked into it getting a small speaker from the dj's booth. I was about to walk out before bumping into Clay at the door.
"And where are you two going? Didn't I say wait upstairs?" "Well yes, but I need to go outside for a little surprise for someone." I told him before whispering the plan to him. He chuckled before moving letting me and Drista out the door.
Ranboo pov
I was sitting down on the couch, I looked outside seeing the balcony. The place where me and y/n almost kissed, I sighed and my mind began to wonder how it would be if Drista didn't interrupt.
My mind went blank only imagines of the scenario, and I began to blush stopping my mind from anymore thinking. I sighed shaking my head when Tubbo walked into the room, he sat down next to me.
"What did you do?" He asked immediately and I was shocked. "How do you know?" "I have seen that face a lot of times Ranboo, now tell what you did wrong or I will tell y/n you fucking like him." He threatened and I shook my head.
"Fine, I'll tell you. While me and y/n we're watching fireworks we almost, you know." "No, I don't know Ranboo. What?" "Kissed." I said silently and a smile began to be plastered on his face. "Oh! Ranboo how did you need that up?" "Well I think I was being to straight forward, I should have asked him out on a date or something before doing that!"
"Ranboo mate, how many times have you and him walked around the city together or played games together?" "I don't keep count, but more that 7 times?" I told him and he groaned loudly. "Yeah, I count those as 7 dates. So you think you should wait till lucky number 8 to kiss him?" He asked and I shook my head blushing.
"Look, when he gets back ask him out on a real date ok?" "Yeah, thanks Tubbo." I said and he nodded ruffling my hair before leaving the room. I then got a call from y/n, I took a breath and answered it.
"Ready?" "Yeah I'm ready." I said and hung up getting my shoes on and walking downstairs, I saw Clay and he nodded at me before I walked out the room. I took the whole walk to shake off any doubts or anxious thoughts in my head.
3rd pov
When Ranboo got to the location, there was a small speaker set up on a bench. A blanket was in the floor with some sodas and foods, he walked down and heard someone. He turned to see y/n walking to him with something behind his back.
"Hey Mr Boo! Please sit!" He said to Ranboo, he obliged and sat down. y/n sat down as well hiding a hand, he then pulled out a few desserts onto the blanket. "Now let's eat we still got time." He said confusing Ranboo.
"Time till what?" "You'll see now eat before the food gets taken by rats." y/n said and out something into his pocket before eating. Ranboo did the same taking off his mask and began to eat and drink the food with y/n.
While they were eating, they made some jokes and talked very casually. That was until y/n's alarm went off, his smile grew and pulled up Ranboo. "Ok now come with me it's almost time!" He said with much enthusiasm as he led Ranboo towards a railing.
"What are we doing here y/n?" "3,2,1! Look!" He said and Ranboo turned to see fireworks again, a lot of them were Christmas themed like Santa fireworks or mistletoes. Then y/n got on one knee, Ranboo looked down at him before gasping.
"Ranboo, I have grown many feeling towards you during my weeks here. And I was wondering if you." He stopped talking pulling out a ring, the ring was surrounded with clear crystals and obsidian equally split. "Would you like to go on a date with me?" He asked and Ranboo stood there with a smile.
"Yes, I would very much like that." He said and y/n smiled and shot up hugging Ranboo, then a mistletoe was out over them by a large stick. They looked over to see Drista with the stick, along with Tubbo helping her out.
"You know the rules dipshits!" Tubbo and Drista yelled cashing Ranboo and y/n to laugh, blushed rising up to their faces. y/n and Ranboo looked at each other, y/n interlocked his hands with Ranboo's. They stared at each other before leaning in, kissing.
"I can't believe you ruined their moment." "Well sorry I thought he was alone god damn." Drista told Tubbo who laughed at her.
