My life as a Madrigal isn't as fun as it seems.
There's a lot of pressure and work to do especially after I got my gift of exceptional good hearing. Don't get me wrong, it's useful but sometimes I hate it. I can hear everything for miles around and there cant be any surprises.
Today was a normal day at first, Casita got me up just in time for me to hear abuela calling us for breakfast.
I quickly got dressed and went downstairs to see everyone already there eating huevos rancheros (my favourite).
After breakfast everyone went out and did their chores while I was stuck with cleaning the dishes with Mirabel. Mirabel and I have gotten closer lately (mostly because we get stuck doing the same chores) but I enjoy the company.
After we finished, I went into town to see if anyone needed help. When I got to town José asked me if I could help him find his cat that ran away. Within 15 minutes I heard him meowing and we chased it to the stream.
After that I wandered around for a few hours but no one needed my help. Sadly with my gift I can't do to much to help out other then find people or pets. Honestly lately I've been feeling kinda useless so I decided to go back to my room and wait for dinner.
On my way back Camilo stops me and asks what's wrong but I push him aside and continue. Camilo followed me anyways. When I got to my room he asked again "What's wrong?" but as I'm about to tell him we get called down for supper so I say I'll tell him later.
After supper I went back to my room and lied down. I hear a knock at my door it's Camilo "Not now." I say " You sure?" He asked "Yes I'll tell you tomorrow." "Ok then." he says and exits my room. As I'm about to fall asleep I hear this strange noise off in the distance. At first I ignore it but it just won't go away.
