"Pipes, can we talk?" Piper lifted her head up as she saw her best friend, "Yeah sure Leo what's up?" Leo sighed a little sitting next to Piper, all of the other demigods were gathered around the campfire like every other night. Leo glanced at Jason, who was talking with Percy laughing at something stupid the other said. Leo couldn't help but smile as he watched the blond. His smile fell as he got out of his thoughts realizing he was supposed to be talking to Piper, this is what he wanted to talk about. These days...Leo felt weird every time he talked with Jason, every time the taller would touch him, laugh at his jokes...he had never felt this way towards anyone before.
"I think...I think i like Jason.." Piper's eyes widened, she spit her drink out "WHAT!?" now everyones eyes were on them "Pipes..!" Piper cleared her throat "Hah sorry guys.." she cleared her throat and got up, grabbing Leo's hand and dragging him away "Say what now?" Leo sighed "I know! i'm a dumbass for falling for a straight guy who's also my best friend...okay yeah im a real dumbass." Piper sighed shaking her head "Hey don't say that, i thought i was straight for 16 years, but anyway! So are you sure? You really like him?" Leo nodded, a faint blush on his cheeks "Yeah...i know i say this to a lot of people but this..this is different Pipes, t's nothing like i've felt before..." Both demigods flinched as they heard a noise "Who's there!?"
Jason raised an eyebrow as he watched his two best friends leave the campfire area, "I'll be right back" he said to Percy as he got up, following the other two. He stopped as they stopped, hiding behind a tree as they started talking. His eyes widened at Leo's words 'He likes me..? Leo likes me..?' he had never thought of Leo in *that* way...or any guy actually. He thought he was straight. He had never felt romantically towards a guy...
He frowned continuing to listen to Leo talk, his cheeks getting a little red at the boy's last words, he sighed heavily he had no idea what to do, he had to reject his best friend? he widened his eyes as he accidentally stepped on something, causing a noise. He quickly ran away before the other two could see him.
the morning.
"Morning Nico" Jason smiled at his friend "Hey guys mind if i sit here for today?" the other Apollo kids didn't mind so he sat next to Nico and his boyfriend. "Morning Jason, is something up? You never eat with us" Nico asked as he ate his breakfast "Well actually...yeah. Nico uh..how do you reject someone kindly? like i care about this person a lot but just not in a romantic way how do i say that.." Nico looked at the son of Jupiter weirdly "And why are you asking me this...? Go ask Piper she's an Aphrodite kid." Jason shook his head "No the thing is well...that person is.." he leaned into Nico's ear "Leo" he whispered, Nico's eyes widened "HE'S GAY?" Jason raised an eyebrow "Leo's pan you didn't know?" Nico rolled his eyes "I was there in the Argo II thinking i was the only gay, and now nearly all of you are" Jason couldn't help but chuckled a little "Well anyway so uh..i overheard him and Piper talking and he likes me, how do i-" "First be sure that you really don't feel anything romantic towards him." Jason shrugged "But i dont need to do that, im not gay i know that." Will raised an eyebrow looking at Jason "You sure about that?" "Stage One: Denial" Nico said making his boyfriend chuckled "Yes i'm sure i like girls." "You can like both." Jason stopped for a moment, yeah that was right he could like both..."I-I don't know i just never thought of him in that way!" "Dude im just saying make sure you don't like him in that way so after you reject him you don't regret it." Jason sighed "I guess you're right"
Jason entered his cabin and sat down on his bed, taking out a notebook he began writing
