Chapter 2: Devil-Dragon Vs. Phoenix

Everyone was staring at the battle between Y/n with his Boosted Gear in both arms and Riser as the ones who didn't know about Y/n's origin learned that Y/n was from the Bael family and also the Red Dragon Emperor of this generation. They were shaking as they can fill his power skyrocket.

Y/n: "Now Riser, here's what you want."

Riser: "I-I don't care if you're the Red Dragon Emperor or from the Bael house! Riser will burn you until there's nothing left!"

Y/n: "Not if I do it to you first."

Riser: "Grrrr. RISER WILL KILL YOU!"

He flew up in the air using his fire wings as he launched fireballs at Y/n who countered with a blast of Dragon Shots. Smoke filled the arena as Riser was sensing where Y/n would appear but he got sent to a wall by an unknown force. He looked up to see Y/n landing on the ground with smirk.

Riser: "How?! Riser didn't sense you!"

Y/n: "I know how to hide my presence chicken nuggets"

Ddraig: "Boost!"

Riser: "I have never seen such speed and power like this! You thin you can beat Riser?! I'm a Phoenix Nobleman! The flame of the immortal burns within me! The hellfire of my clan will scorch you to dust!"

Y/n: "Then prove it. There's no fire powerful enough to rival that of a dragon."

He flew towards Y/n and tried to punch him but Y/n dodged it and kneed him on the gut. Then Y/n punched him into the air and launched two Dragon Shots creating an explosion. Y/n then made a whip out of his P.O.D and wrapped them around the Riser and slammed him back to the ground. Riser was starting to heal from his injuries.

Riser: "Whatever you are doing to Riser, I will only heal."

Y/n: "Okay then, how about this?"

Y/n disappeared and appeared behind Riser as he grabbed him in a choke hold. He then use his P.O.D to hit Riser's magic power and destroy his regeneration. Y/n then threw him a few feet away as he slowly stood up shaking.

Y/n: "What's wrong Riser? Is that it?"

Riser: "R-Riser will kill you abomination. I will not be defeated by the likes of you!"

Isami: "Man, seeing Riser like this is so satisfying."

Koneko: "I want him to beat that chicken more."

Akeno: "I think your guess was right Isami, he really is a dragon."

Kiba: "A powerful dragon at that."

Venelana: "Is this really his full strength?"

Belfast: "From what I am seeing, No. If you want him to go serious, you have to push him to make him use Balance Breaker."

Rias: "I can't believe he has become so strong. I have a long way to go."

Zeoticus: "You'll get there Rias, believe in yourself like how Y/n believes in you."

???: "I see the match has started."

They turned to the voice and see the eldest of the Phoenix and the heir of their household, Ruval Phoenix. He is rumored to be promoted to Ultimate-class Devil.

Ravel: "Brother! Glad you are here."

Lady Phoenix: "What are you doing here dear?"

Ruval: "I heard that there's a fight between Riser and this guy from the Bael Clan. Is it Sairaorg?"

Lord Phoenix: "No, it's his younger brother."

Ruval: "I didn't know he have one."

Ruval walked closer to see the match and saw Riser being thrown around by a guy with black and red hair with the Boosted Gear.
