Part 30. Need to go back

You see Yuki standing next to you. "Yuki, you scared me." He shakes his head. "If you want to keep this a secret. You can't be doing this in rooms where everyone can come. Do you want to get busted?" You shake your head. "I will go back to the table, see you guys there." You give Max one last kiss and walk back to the table. Yuki looks at Max. "You now you can lose your seat right?" He nods. "I know and it sounds crazy, but i think she is worth the fight. I love her Yuki. I'm not like George." He smiles. "I know, i just want to protect her at All costs. Don't break her." Yuki and Max walk back to the table and see Lando coming trough with cocktails. He offers you one, but you reject. "Oh come on Em, one drink." You laugh and shake your head. "My injuries are acting up, i really need some rest." He hugs you. "I get it, i will see you tomorrow." Max stands up. "I think I'm going to, i have a massive headache." He looks at you. You take the hint, he is fine, he just wants to be with you. Yuki also stands up so the attention is drawing away from you and Max. "Big day tomorrow, I'm heading back to." You say goodbye to everyone and get in with Jeff, but this time. Max gets in to. Jeff looks shocked. "Oh, mister Verstappen." Max smiles. "You can call me Max." You look at Jeff. "He is in the same hotel as i am, so i thought he could join me." Jeff smiles. "Of course Emma." He drives you back to the hotel. You thank him for driving you and go back to the hotel. Max puts you in bed and tucks you in. He grabs your medicine and some water. You want to get up to drink it, but you feel a painful wave trough your body. You moan because of it. Max worries and runs towards you. You smile at him. "I'm okay Max." He laughs nervously. After you took the medicine you lie down again. Max crawls next to you. "Finally back in the car tomorrow." Max nods. "And that with my favourite person beside me." He kisses you on your forehead and falls asleep. You close your eyes as well.
