AYAN'S POV

Lilith and i have been married for 2 years now and i couldn't be any happier.She is everything i wanted and my family loves her,well...most of them,except my dad,younger siblings and expecially my cousins.Well i don't care,am happy,really happy despite us having to wait to have kids cause she's not ready yet.I mean her career is at an all time high and the company has been having some problems but we're all good.We came to a compromise.Store some eggs and sperms and we'll just have Ivf when she's ready.Which brings us to today.

It's the last day of Lilith's shoot and i plan on surprising her,
we haven't seen each other since i flew to MERCHANT INDUSTRIES HQ in Korean over 2 weeks ago.I usually work in Korean for 8 days before going to wherever Lilith is acting from so that we can spend time together.

Usually i call Lilith beforehand,but i have a whole serenade planned and so much more.I just have to check with Stan so that I know where Lilith is and inform the band as to where they should go.

"Oh hai Stan,is Lilith still getting prepared".(Stan is Lilith's director in the new drama series she's been acting in)

" this is Caro stan's PA and Mrs Merchant has gone back to her apartment".Someone says.

"Ok thanks Caro." Well now,since she's at our apartment this will work perfectly.I reached my apartment's building.I own the whole building.My apartment is the penthouse.I enter the lobby and meet the band.I inform the bad to come to the penthouse after 10minutes and start playing immediately upon entry.They nod in agreement and I rush towards the just as my phone rings.Oh face time

"hey mum,wow you look gorgeous,what are you up to tonight"i ask.

"Ayan it been 8months since we last saw either you or Lilith,i know you're busy but you have got to find time to visit".mum complains.

"Well don't worry eomma i promise we will visit you soon.Infact right this weekend."I say.

"Really"she asks

"Yes,so where are you going?"I ask.

"To a gala,do you like my dress?"she asks.

"Like,eomma I love your dress.Good choice"I compliment.

"Thankyou"she says.

"Oh eomma do you wanna see what i prepared for Lilith as a surprise?". I asked mum.

"Oh honey, i would love to".says mum.

"Okay eomma,just stay online."I say.

I reached for my key and opened my apartment door.Its quiet,huh where is she.I check all the rooms down stairs and she's not there, hehehe she's probably in our room.I get a text from the band saying they are at the door.I realised I spent most of my time talking to mum.

I go to the door letting them in and telling them that they should start playing as soon as they see me coming down the stairs.I quickly go up the stairs and bee line for our room.As i approach the door,i see it's partially open.I walk in but don't see her, i look around and was about to go out when something catches my eye,clothes on the floor and not just any clothes,men's clothes and those are not mine.The trail of clothes leads all the way to the bath.

This,this can't....there must be a mistake.I say to myself.Its probably the help right..,that's when i hear the noise coming from the bathroom.I would know that voice anywhere.

"No"i whisper to myself."Its just white noise"i say as i sit on the couch.

Soon the shower stops and the noise becomes more prominent.Yet still i choose to wait and see,i need to know. After what feels like hours the door of the bathroom finally opens and out comes Stan with Lilith wrapped in the same towel.The shock on their faces says it all.
