They didn't fix my torso since it was only a minor problem. While my glitching problem has been taken care of, they removed my voice box and never replaced it.
I was placed back into the daycare the next day, this time out in the open and not inside the little room above. Children smothered the entire place, drawing, playing tag, some throwing a tantrum. I wasn't sure on where to go at first, everybody was running around and doing activities together.
I approached lonely little girl who was playing with blocks on the ground. As she looked up at me, her face lightened. I sat down and grabbed some of the blocks, there were many different shapes and colors. She seemed to be making a structure, there were red walls and yellow pointy roofs. Without warning, she grabbed me and ran up to a grown woman leaning on the wall.
"Mommy mommy! Look what I found!" she held me up. "Can we keep him?"
"Oh my, where did you find this bud? I never seen him before," the woman said.
"He walked up to me! Please, can we take him home?"
"Oh Lola, he belongs here, of course we can't take him home."
I could feel the girl starting to get frustrated. I surprised myself when I found out I could play melodies from the speaker on my chest. I somehow know that it's supposed to soothe children, and maybe adults. This only made her angrier.
"But mommy! He can make music!!!" she whined. I tried to wiggle out of her grasp, but she clung onto me harder.
"I'm sorry Lola but we can't bring animatronics home, it doesn't belong to us," the mother said sternly. She snatched me out of her hands and gently placed me on the ground. "Let's go now, I've already gave you ten extra minutes for you to play."
She wailed as she was being taken out the daycare. I had the urge to try to comfort her, but it was no use. Was it my fault? I shrugged it off and carried along with exploring.
Not long afterwards, I spotted a boy hanging around a corner by himself, fidgeting with his hands. He seemed like he wanted to play with someone, so I brought him a soft toy that had four legs and a horn on its head. He seemed nervous at first when he saw me walking towards him. I showed him the toy, hoping that could calm him down.
"A UNICorn? I'm nota guwl," he said, not daring to touch it. He seemed embarrassed as he looked around. I knew he didn't want to be seen with this, so I dropped the toy and brought him blocks instead, just like what the other girl played with. He was delighted and seemed to be building something similar to what Lola was building, red walls, but it had orange triangles on top instead. He seemed irritated when I tried to help him put the yellow blocks on top, I was only trying to do what Lola did.
"Who wants FIZZY FAZ?! I've got plenty for EVERYBODYYY!!"I heard Sun yell. I look around the corner, kids were gathered all around him excitedly. Many of them wore similar outfits, most having red cloth on their shoulders, others with green and pink socks, red skirts and tops, purple shoes with star glasses. There must've been other animatronics outside this room, and probably a lot more popular than Sun, I haven't seen one child wear an outfit similar to Sun.
Maybe I could take the little boy to meet Sun and the other kids. I took his hand and started leading him towards the crowd. He tried to escape my grasp multiple times, but I didn't let go, not until I reached Sun, maybe he could be given ice cream too.
Fizzy Faz, I remembered, not ice cream. How did I know what ice cream was? I didn't know.
I pushed through the crowd, many toddlers stopping to look at me and whispering. I saw Sun, whirring and turning around as he passed out the drinks.
"Be careful! Don't spill anything, you wouldn't want to make things harder for me now would ya?" He joked after it seemed he finished handing them out to everybody. He looks down to see me and his eyes seemed to lighten.
"Oh, look who we have here, it's you again!" he said gleefully as he twists around and hands the boy Fizzy Faz. He scoops me up and starts cradling me. "Awww, you're so tiny! Did you make friends? I bet you did!"
He held me for a few minutes, finger painting and drawing with others before he had to settle me down and run off a direction.
"NO NO! This is area is OFF LIMITS, coming here could get us in BIG trouble!! You don't want that now do you?" he said with an anxious tone. He became very watchful of the desk after the security guard went on a lunch break. "Remember kids, there is only one rule! Keep the lights on. ON. on..."
