Chapter 3

Aven's pov

"So your from the uk?" Jake asked with a shocked expression.

I chuckle "uh yea, can't you tell it's kinda obvious?" I say referring to my accent. "If I was speaking proper Scottish, not how I speak on camera or the now, you would not be able to understand me" I smile. He's filming this whole ordeal.

"Wait. Scottish? I thought you were from Northern Ireland"

"Are you being serious?! That's such an insult!" I laugh.

We were sat at the stairs outside the complex just messing about. We're waiting for Jake's girlfriend.

"JAKEY" a short girl says as she jogs up to us. She's gorgeous, got naturally dark hair with 2 blonde streaks at the front.

"Tara!" They hug and I smile at the interaction. Tara breaks the hug and walks over to me.

"Hi. I'm Tara. I do t believe we have met" she says as she stands in front of me.

"Hi. I literally just met your boyfriend like 30 minutes ago. I just moved in, well collected my keys. Oh my names Aven by the way, Aven Hails" I say smiling. We both laugh at the interaction.

"That's cool. I can tell we're going to be great friends" she says as we hug.

"So Aven, now you have 2 new cool friends in LA" Jake says proudly.

"Well... I do have a few other youtuber friends out here yano Jake" I say in a very posh English accent.

"Ooo and who might they be miss Aven" Tara says back at me with the same accent. We all laugh.

"Well the friend I moved here for, Amber Scholl and possibly Bryce hall" I say laughing in embarrassment.

"Oh cool, we're friends with him as well" Jake says shrugging. Oh surprising.

"Omg. You should meet up with the whole group tomorrow for pizza night" Tara says excitedly.

"Um. Pizza night? Group?" I say a little worried.

"Oh so we're in a pretty big group. Remember how we met and I said "your not Sam" yea he's part of the group. Me, Sam and Colby stay in this complex and everyone else is all over the place" Jake says explaining a little.

"Yea. We all get together at Sam's place and have a chill night all together. Jake, Sam, Colby and another friend Corey are called the trap boys. Then me, Katrina Sam's girlfriend, Devyn, Xepher and Cassie are the trap girls. Then the rest is like the trap group" wow that's a lot of people.

"Wow that's cool. Do they all do YouTube?" I say as we walk to the elevator.

"Yea most of us do. Hey do you have any plans for the rest of the day?" Tara asks.

"Um no. Amber was meant to be coming over but she texted 10 minutes ago saying that a important meeting came up that she had to go too. I think I was just going to get some stuff to start decorating my apartment " I say a little disappointed.

"Omg. We can help. Can't we jakey" Tara says smiling.

"Yea, sure. Not got anything planned"

"Well it's sorted then. I need to change but my clothes are at ambers and I don't have a space key" I say thinking on what I would do.

"I would say borrow mine but I don't think they would fit. I can text Katrina and ask if she has any at Sam's. you guys look around the same size" Tara says coming up with an idea.

"Um do you think Katrina would be okay with that? You know cause she's never met me" I ask worried.

"Oh don't worry she'll be fine. You can meet her tomorrow" Tara replies as she pulls her phone out.

"Hey. Elevator dance party activated." Jake says to me as Tara holds the camera to film us. Me and Jake start dancing weirdly with no music and we all end up just laughing.

We get to level 3 and walk out. "Oh so your on the same floor as Sam and Colby." Jake says nodding his head. We get to my door when he speaks again. "Okay. You live right next to Sam and Colby" he laughs.

"They're my neighbours?" I ask weirdly.

"Colby is your next door neighbour and Sam is beside Colby" Tara explains. *ting* "oh Katrina said that you can borrow some clothes from Sam's"

"Okay. Can you tell her I said thanks and will return them as soon as possible" I smile gratefully.

"Yea. No problem" she smiles. "We have to quickly go over to Sam's. Let's go see what you like" she drags me out leaving Jake in my apartment. "Don't break anything Jake!" She yells.

"There's nothing to break!" He yells back as the door closes. We burst out laughing.

We turn up at the door down from mine but Tara doesn't knock and just walks straight in.

"What's up fuckers" Tara yells. I walk in behind her and close the door carefully. There's a blonde guy sitting on the couch with another guy with dark hair and a blonde streak in his hair.

"Uh Tara. What are you doing here??" The blonde one asks in confusion. Tara grabs my hand and pulls me against her back. I wrap my arms around her shoulders.

"This is my new bestie Aven. Aven this is Sam" pointing to the blonde one. "and that one is a skunk" she points to the other one. I let out a chuckle.

"Excuse me." He says with his eyebrows raised. He's checking me out with his eyes. Tara nudges me with her shoulder while snickering.

"Sorry this is Aryia. He's part of our friend group but he sings mostly" I nod my head. "So where's Katrina's clothes? Sven just got her keys and we're getting stuff to decorate but she needs to change and her friend has her clothes who's out" Tara explains for me.

"Oh yea. Follow me" Sam says getting up. He walks down a hall and we follow in suit. "Sorry bout the mess" he says as we walk into his room.

Tara walks over to his closet opens it up. "Do you just need some pants?" I nod. Oh god, I forgot they're American. Tara takes out a few pairs. "Which ones?"

I walk over to her. "I'll take these Nike ones the now" I say and take them from Tara. Sam makes a confused expression.

"Where are you from?" He asks.

"Oh I'm from Scotland" I smile. He nods and puts his hand out in front of me. I take it and he gives me a light kiss on the cheek.

"It was nice meeting you" I nod and say it back at him. We walk back bout to the room with Aryia talking about pizza night.

"Yea, definitely come over and meet everyone. They'll love you" Sam says after Tara mentioned she invited me.

"Yea I will try, if I'm not uploading or making a video" I chuckle. "Thank you. I think we should get back, we've left Jake for too long" I say Tara.

"Oh shit. Forgot about him, he's probably swinging from the lights or something" we all laugh at her statement.

"It was nice meeting you Aryia!" I say waving. He waves back and says bye. Me and star get back to mine and Jake's just lying on the floor eating nuts he got earlier.

"Finally! Go change sweet cheeks. The stores aren't gonna stay open all day!" He says pushing me into the empty bathroom. I laugh and close the door.

So there was originally more to this chapter but I felt it was too long so I've kept it for chapter 4!
