Chapter 1 - You Too Can Become A Hero

*Flashback Izuku and you are 4 years old and at the playground*
Bakugo~You can't beat me deku!
Izuku~Just because I don't have a quirk doesn't mean I can't stand up for my sister!
Bakugo~Yeah what are you gonna do punch me you quirkless loser?
*He makes a small explosion in his hand*
Izuku~If I train hard I can be a hero too!
Bakugo~All right that's it I'm gonna beat your ass!!
*They lunge at us ready to start fighting*
*End of flash back*
Mia~That day I learned that not all humans are created equal.
Izuku~And then I realized one thing, not having a quirk really sucks.
Mia~The year was 20xx when a glowing infant was reported in Tokyo Medical Hospital
Izuku~Ever since then a growing number of citizens have been born with supernatural abilities known as quirks.
Mia~These newly developed super powers gave birth to a collection of super heroes creating a world of amazing new possibilities it's truly amazing.
Izuku~Well aside from the new emerging super villains who are responsible for killing millions citizens a year.
*Flashback me and Izuku are 13 and are in a crowd watching a superhero fight a villian*
Woods~Prepare yourself villian because I'm about to take you down with wood alone!
*He tugs on my sleeve*
Izuku~He's about to use his finishing move!
Woods~Take this ,warning woods!!
*Just then a new hero jumps in and kicks the villain away and Izuku starts scribbling away in his notebook*
Izuku~Mt.Lady she captured the villian but crushed 37 civilians in the process.
*Present day 14 years old and in school*
Teacher~Ugh looks like out of all you idiots only 3 of you are applying to UA High school gosh lord knows our school can't take anymore embarrassment.
Bakugo~Don't worry teach I'll make up for all these mistakes of children.
Teacher~Oh my the Midoriya's are applying too? You do see why that's a bad idea right?
Bakugo~Listen up normies you'll never be as good as me the only relevance you'll ever have is eventually becoming a casualty to a hero that's actually significant!
*We're leaving school and walking home in the city and a villian shows up after robbing a store for money*
Store clerk~Help he's running away with my money!
Villian~Anyone who tries to stop me is dead!
*Flashback me and Izuku are 4 and sitting in front of a computer screen*
Izuku~Play the video mom!
Mia~Yeah mom play the video!
Inko~Ok ok calm down!
*She plays the video*
Bystander~Oh my god there's a hero saving all these people from this massive fire!
All Might~I am here!
Bystander~He's got more! Oh my god he has more people!
*Me and deku sit smiling*
*In the doctors office*
Inko~So your saying there's something wrong with my children?
Doctor~Yes
Inko~Will they ever have a quirk
Doctor~No they will remain quirkless
*Back at home sitting in front of the computer in the dark*
Izuku~Even without a quirk we can be heroes too right?
*He says while we both cry*
Inko~Oh Izuku and Mia I'm sorry!
*She runs to us crying and giving us a hug*
*Present day we're walking under a bridge to get back home*
Villain~You look like a nice meal
*I watch as he lunges over my brother while he tries to run away*
Villain~Come on kid I just want to have a body!
Mia~HELP!!!! SOMEBODY HELP!!! MY BROTHER IS IN DANGER!!!!
Villain~Stop struggling kid it'll all be over soon.
*Then all might shows up and climbs out the sewers*
Mia~All Might my brothers in danger help him please!!!
All Might~Haha everything is going to be alright because I am here,now listen here villian hand over the boy or you'll regret it!
Villain~Go find your own child!
*He throws one of his tenticals at all might and he ducks*
Mia~AAAH!!!
All Might~Maryland Smash!!!
Villain~Maryland! Where the hell is Maryland?!?!?
*All Might punches the villian defeating him and sets my brother free*
Mia~Izuku are you ok!
*I give him a hug he hugs back*
Izuku~Yeah sis I'm fine...
*And then he faints*
10 minutes later
*All Might slaps Izuku to see if he's alive*
All Might~Hey kid? Kid!
Izuku~Huh?
All Might~Wake up! Are you alright?
*Izuku scoots away quickly then stands up*
All Might~Don't worry I've caught the sewer villain.
*He flies off and I walk over to my brother so we can walk home again*
Mia~Are you sure your okay Izuku you seem a bit off?
Izuku~I'm fine Mia I promise.
*He runs off and I follow as he grabs my hand and jumps onto all mights leg*
All Might~Jesus kids what are you doing get off!
Izuku~I can't breathe!
*He coughs and a drop of blood exits his mouth*
Mia~All Might are you ok?
All Might~I'm fine.
*He lands on a roof and let's us off *
All Might~Listen kids as much as I would love to sit and chat I have to bring this villain to the police bye!
Izuku~Wait!!!
All Might~What is it kid?
Izuku~I need to know all my life people have been telling me and my sister that we can't be heroes because we have no quirk but I just want to know from the #1 hero if it's possible that me and my sister can become hero's even without quirks?
All Might~A hero without a quirk? Listen kids...
*He starts to speak and then smoke comes off of his body and I here him mumble 'no not now stop'*
Mia~Our classmates think we don't have a chance that we can't become a hero without quirks.
*And then the smoke clears and he looks skinnier then before*
Mia+Izuku~AAAH!!!
Bakugo's Pov
Bully 1~That was rough.
Bully 2~Weren't you and the Midoriya's good friends back in elementary school?
Bully 1~Yeah you were a little harsh with them today.
Bakugo~It's their own fault for getting in my way!
*I walk down an alley and kick a bottle*
Bully 2~You shouldn't waste your time on them.
Bakugo~Someone's gotta teach those worthless nerds how the world works. I hate it when they talk hero's!
*I crush the can in my hand*
Bully 2~Hey I got an idea we should go to the arcade get your mind off things you know?
Bakugo~Fine.
Bully 1~Or we could sneak into the train station pick up some ladies
Bully 2~Now that's a good idea!
Bakugo~Idiots if we get caught there's no way UA would let me in!
*I let of little explosions in my hand*
Bully 1+2~Hey what's that?
*I turn around to what their pointing at and see some slime monster behind me*
Villain~I like a kid who has fire!
Mia's Pov
Mia+Izuku~AAAAH!!!
Izuku~I- who- what-what happened you deflated!
Mia~Where did all might go?
Izuku~You you're not him!
Mia~You're fake!
Izuku~An imposter!
All Might~I assure you that I am All Mig-
*He pukes blood then wipes his mouth*
Izuku~AAAH!
Mia~Impossible!!!
All Might~You know guys in shows who just suck it in and try to look buff I'm like that
Izuku~This can't be real!!!
Mia~No I'm dreaming All Mights a giant of a man who saves everyone and he defeats all obstacles and completes the day with a smile!
All Might~There's plenty of fear behind that smile.
*He sits down in front of the railing and sighs*
All Might~I'm planning on you 2 to keep your mouth shut don't go talking about this online or telling your friends.
*He lifts up his shirt and we shriek*
All Might~Pretty gross right,I got this in the fight 5 years back,my respiratory system is basically destroyed and I lost my whole stomach,all the surgeries have pretty much worn me out,it can't be fixed,right now I can only do hero work about 3 hours a day,the rest of the time this is what I look like.
Izuku~What,no way 5 years ago? So does that mean it was the fight with toxic chainsaw?
All Might~Wow you know your stuff.
Mia~Yeah my brother is a simp for these things.
All Might~But no,the punk might have landed some hits but he couldn't bring me down,
most of the world has never heard about this fight,I did everything I could to keep it under wraps,I'm supposed to be the guy who's always smiling right? I'm the symbol of peace,people everywhere have to think that I'm not afraid,but honestly I smile to hide the fear inside,it's just a brave face I put on when the pressure is high,this job isn't easy Pro hero's are always having to risk their lives,some villains just can't be beaten without powers,so no I honestly don't think you can become a hero without a quirk.
*That's when me and Izuku's face dropped*
Izuku~I- I see...
All Might~If you want to help people there are many other ways to do it,you can become police officers.They get crap because the hero's catch most of the villains,but it's a fine profession,it's not bad to have a dream kids just make sure you can reach your dreams, now let's get you to the station
*He checks his pockets but it's gone*
All Might~Not good.
*He flies off and we look into the distance*
Mia~A villain I wonder which hero will show up!
*we run to the door to get downstairs*
Bakugo's Pov
Bakugo~You picked the wrong guy to mess with,I'm gonna send you back to whatever sewer you crawled out of,let me go!!!
*I scream *
Villain~You've got so much power,I really hit the jackpot,with a quirk like yours under my control I can take all might down with one punch!
*Mt.Lady shows up*
Mt.Lady~My only weakness,I need a 2 lane road if I want to fight here!
Woods~Fire and wood don't exactly make a good combination,I'll let someone else stop this guy.
Mia's Pov
*I walk with my brother in silence down the sidewalk and sees he's about to start crying*
Mia~It's ok little bro we'll be quirkless together!
*I put my arm around his shoulders and continue walking down the street*
*We turn the corner and see the same villain all might was fighting earlier and Bakugo locks eyes with us and deku runs out of my grip*
Mia~Izuku!!!
*I run after him to the front of the crowd and stop once he runs through the fire to kacchan*
Hero~Stop!What are you doing you idiot!Your gonna get yourself killed!
Bakugo~De- Deku?
Izuku's Pov
*I think to myself 'what am I doing? Why am I running and why can't I stop? What would a hero do right now?'*
Izuku~Kacchan?!?!
*I turn and see my sister run after me into the fire only to get stopped by hero's and I turn back around*
Bakugo~What the hell! Why are you here!!
Izuku~I don't know...my legs...they just...started...moving!
*'I don't know why I did what I did maybe it was the look on his face'*
Izuku~Kacchan I couldn't just stand there and watch you die!
Bakugo~GET THE HELL OFF ME!!!!
Villain~Just a little bit longer kid and,I'm done playing with you!
*An explosion occurs and I shield my face and when the smoke clears all might stands in front of me*
All Might~I really am pathetic!
Izuku~All Might....
All Might~I told you the trace to make a really great champion,but I see I wasn't living up to my own ideal.Pros are always risking their lives,that's the true test of a hero!
Villain~Damn you all might!
All Might~Detroit Smash!!!
*He punches the villain making a tornado of wind clearing the sky and blasting the villain away and it starts raining*
Extra~It's raining,is this really happening?Did he really change the weather with a single punch like it was nothing?All might saved the day again!He's amazing!
*All Might raises his fist and smiles concluding that the battle was over*
Mia's Pov
*I run over to my brother and give him a hug*
Mia~Omg deku are you ok?Don't do that again!
Izuku~I'm fine sis...
*I look over to the hero's*
Mia~I'm sorry about him.
Woods~It's ok.
Mia~Come on Izuku.
*I help him up and then we walk away*
15 minutes later
*We're walking down the street when we hear steps behind us*
Bakugo~Deku!!
Izuku~Kacchan?
*He stops looks at me nods I nod back and he breathes heavily*
Bakugo~Listen I would never ask for a weakling like you to help me!Don't think you can look down on me alright!Got that I was fine by myself!Your just a quirkless failure who won't even cut it as a regular cop!You didn't help me!You did nothing!Don't forget it!I don't owe you anything!
*He walks off*
*We turn around I put my arm over his shoulder and we continue walking home then All Might appears*
All Might~I am here
Izuku~All Might why are you here?How'd you get rid of all those reporters?
All Might~Haha I stand for justice,not for soundbites because I I am All mi-
*He transforms back into a normal human and spits blood everywhere*
Mia+Izuku~AAAAH!!!!
All Might~Young man,I came here to thank you,and also to discuss your question from before,if you hadn't told me about your life,if you hadn't run into that fight,I would've been a worthless bystander,standing watching from the crowd so thanks.
Izuku~Huh no it was my fault the villain was there in the first place.I got in the way of your hard work,I wasted your energy not to mention your time.
All Might~I'm not done.You told me you didn't have a power,so when I saw this timid quirkless boy try to save a life it inspired me to act too,there are stories about every hero how they became great,most have one thing in common,their bodies moved before they had a chance to think,almost on their own.
*I look to my brother and see that he's crying so I put my arm around his shoulders*
All Might~And today that's what happened to you,young man you too can become a hero!
