And as their tradition was, they go to work, eat, sleep. Day after day encountering new or familiar trials to get their work done. Eat there helping of a good meal and sleep the night away for their next day of work and fun. Kazuma and Aqua's side of thing were simple.

On Kazuma and Aqua's end, they wake up, go to work, Kazuma would do grueling work, Aqua would have easier work, they would get milk afterward, and finally meet with (Y/n) for dinner. All of that minus the breaks they take as well as breakfast and lunch.

For (Y/n), his day started at the leather worker helping process the leather, go help the merchant in selling and learning about materials and what is popular and underrated, hunt for hide, and finally have dinner with Kazuma and Aqua. Of course minus breakfast, lunch, and breaks. Although his day changed due to a deal the merchant made with a blacksmith. It was the day he first met the merchant too.

Flashback

(Y/n) stands outside the merchant's shop preparing himself to enter. He can hear yelling between what he assumes is the merchant and a customer. Finally steeling his nerves he walks in.

???: You sold me fake gold!

Merchant: No I didn't! Out of all the ridiculous things anyone has every complained about this is the absolute most ludicrous of them all! How can you even make gold fake!

The merchant then noticed me staring at them anxiously.

Merchant: I'm terribly sorry but whatever you need it'll have to wait. I'm currently settling a disagreement about "fake gold."

(Y/n): A-Actually t-there's something l-like it. 'Damn it, I'm too scared to talk now.'

???: See! Even the boy knows!

Merchant: Oh please he's a child, what could they know?

(Y/n): T-There's a metal that l-looks like gold but...instead of being m-malleable i-it's b-brittle. I-I forgot it's actual name but it's normally called fool's gold.

???: Really?

The merchant looked at the customer guy.

Merchant: Excuse me was this a shocked to you! Did you really just try to swindle me!

???: No it's just that it didn't act like normal gold! I swear I never intended to swindle anything out of you. I just need gold to make an order for the Archduke, the guy wants another ring and I'd rather not be punished for mistaking gold with a fake of some kind.

The man said nervously, trying to reign in the situation.

Merchant: Oh, him again? *Sigh* Well I have some more gold in the back, you already paid for it so I'll give it to you but I'm gonna need you to return the "fool's gold" as it's called.

???: I have it with me already, here you go.

The man pulls out a box and give it to the merchant. They start the exchange but the man doesn't leave yet, instead turning to me.

???: Hey boy, thanks for letting us know. Might have ruined my chances of coming back here though.

Merchant: No problem, sir. It's forgiven, neither of us knew. Though That does beg the question. *Turns to me* How did you know?

(Y/n): W-Where I come from, this has happened before and many people were fooled by it, h-hence the name.

Merchant: Say, where do you come from? They might have more knowledge of materials than we do.

The boy in question didn't know what to say, so he tried his best.

(Y/n): I...I-I don't think anyone could go there.
