Crush at first sight

I woke up so excited. I couldn't wait any longer. My parents were taking too long to get ready. I made sure I was wearing perfect makeup. I wanted every human being to stare at me like crazy. I called Siola to ask if she had left home but she was already in her classroom waiting for me.

I got angry and went to give my parents pressure. They quickly came out and we all left home. It was almost 7am when we got to the school, but, fortunately classes start at 8am. The principal called my class teacher and he escorted me to the class. The teacher was so handsome and I couldn't imagine how the class members would look like .

When I went in , they asked for an introduction and I gave one. I chose a seat behind Siola and sat down. I supported my jaws with my hands and faced the board.

"Have you eaten?" Siola asked turning to face me

"No, I didn't get time to. I was so excited about high school and this is it?" I said adjusting myself in the chair

"Here" Siola said handing me sandwich

"Thanks so much" I started eating hastily
"Take your time, you don't wanna choke on it" She smirked

I choked immediately after she smirked and someone passed me water. I looked at the girl who passed me the water closely that she got shy.

"I'm Sarafina but you can call me Sara" she stated smiling

"I'm Nelle, oh and thanks for the water" I said smiling back

"Siola here, she's ma bestie" she said pointing at me with a stern face

Sara smiled and went back to her seat. I felt like Siola was too harsh.

"Why did you do that? You should have smiled?" I said in a low voice

"Can't you see she's interested in being close to you? You're mine forever please!" She said and gave a fake smile to Sara as she was looking our direction

"Happy?" She said this and turned to face the board

Just then, the teacher came in again with two boys who seemed very close. They were very handsome and tall. My eyes grew wide open when the taller one started his introduction. His voice was so...uh. Siola started poking me as she saw I was in a dreamland. My mouth was open wide and I couldn't close it. The boys were so handsome. I knew I had a crush on the taller one. The short one was good looking too but I was interested in tall guys.

He finished his introduction and the shorter one too. They were told to sit anywhere they wanted since there were lots of empty chairs. The shorter guy sat in the first seat near the window and the taller one started walking my direction.

" Siola, he's coming my direction!!!" I whispered excitedly while poking her back

She rolled her eyes and leaned forward so I couldn't poke her anymore.
I kept looking and unlooking at the guy, if that is even a word.

He sat behind me after he smirked at me. I felt embarrassed by that. He knew I was crushing. I made it so obvious.

" What's your name?" He asked hitting the leg of my chair from behind

" Nelle" it almost sounded like a whisper

" Uh... I see, you're pretty. But you shouldn't stare at people that way, you know?" He said very close to my ear because he leaned forward

I nodded because I couldn't talk. I was so dumbfounded. This is not what I planned.

" Okay, class. Good morning. I'm Mister Larson, your class teacher." The teacher interrupted
