ㅤyeosang let out an unfocused breath as he stopped running. he leaned against a tree letting out rap𝗶d breaths. once he was able to go back to his normal breathing he stood up straight and looked around to see where he could keep going but all in sight were trees, trees, and more trees and yeosang didn’t know where to go.

he took his chances and chose a random direction to. he clutched his bags tightly and close to him as he started to walk.

yeosang didn’t realize how scary it would actually be to be out on your own like this. it was night too, so that didn’t help his case. the only source of light coming from the moon, the crunch of dirt from under him every step he took, and the little noises he would hear every now and then.

yeosang was scared, he had to leave at night of all times. but, it was the only choice he had, throughout the day surveillance on him was tight. the only alone time he ever really had was at night so he had to use the opportunity given to him. even if it was scary, he had to endure it.

but now he’s here, lost in the woods, not knowing where to go and picking up on something. from what he could see, a village was near. it brought an oddly comfortable vibe so he decided to spend the night near it. he climbed a tree and tried his best to make himself comfortable in it.

though it was very hard as the tree branches poked him at every angle. so to say nonetheless it was very uncomfortable but he made due.

yeosang was surprised as he managed to actually get some sleep, the tree wasn’t so bad. he rubbed at his eyes and tried to fix his hair and slowly climbed off the tree.

as the sun was out it was easier to see the village. he neared it a little more as something was drawing him to it. though he stopped in his tracks as he smelt a faint scent. he knew immediately it was an alpha but oddly enough it didn’t repel him away.

he could see a male rest on one of the trees close to the boundary of the territory of that village. yeosang hid behind a tree that was close to the village but not too close. then, yeosang’s inner wolf was yelling out,

mate!

mate!

mate!

it seems the alpha also noticed his own cherry blossom scent as he tried to get closer but yeosang could see that look of hesitation on the male’s face and soon enough the alpha backed away.

yeosang would be lying if he said he wasn’t upset but pushed the feeling down and continued his journey into the woods.

one thing for sure was that yeosang wasn’t getting out of the woods any time soon, at least a few days but it was fine as long as yeosang was away from his home.

after what seemed to be an hour yeosang had stumbled upon another village.

yeosang oddly enough had something pulling him to the village too. so he got a little close too and suddenly his thoughts drifted back to the day he lost a little soft pink blanket of his. it was so precious to him but one day it suddenly just disappeared. he wasn’t able to find it since.

yeosang then tried to redirect his body into the direction he was supposed to be going instead of the village. he quickly got hold of himself and started walking again.

not even a minute later his stomach growled so yeosang pulled a snack he had packed from one of his bags. he ate it happily as he continued to walk. he hummed as he ate with a big smile and a small skip to his step.

though as he was enjoying his small meal he smelled an alpha. his eyes widened as he knew if he smelt any other wolves that weren’t from villages they were rouge and that was never good.

he quickly turned to run in the opposite direction from the alpha, hoping to not get caught.

but it was too late.

“come on pretty omega, come out.” yeosang heard the alpha say. his heart bounced as he ran. soon enough he found a cave and decided to hide in there. since he was pretty small he was able to hide perfectly. now all he had to do was calm himself down and he wouldn’t expose himself of being in the cave.

he took big breaths until he heard the leaves crunching. it was getting closer and closer and yeosang heard the same raspy voice from before,

“i know you’re hiding somewhere, darling. just come out and we can chat.” yeosang covered his mouth with his hand as to not let out any unintentional noises. he was shaking but he tried to calm himself down by tightly hugging his bags and thinking of calm and steady thoughts.

as about half an hour passed yeosang could no longer smell the alpha but he wasn’t going to chance getting up and leaving the cave right now and possibly getting caught. so he opted to stay in the cave until the next morning.

as the next morning arrived yeosang was still asleep. it wasn’t till night time that yeosang stood up to stretch his limbs. the cave was not the most comfortable but he couldn’t deny that it helped him get away from the alpha so the cave was a real life saver.

it also seemed as he passed out for a bit, maybe lack of food and water since he left his home. he had to admit that although his parents were monsters they did feed him well. so as he cautiously left the cave he sprinted in a random direction which happened to lead him into yet another village. again yeosang had a small pull to it as well but this time he didn’t try to go near it.

he was trying to leave these woods for good.

he quickly ran past the village, not paying attention to the young alpha staring out the window, picking up on his scent.

he ran as fast as he could, stumbling every now and then, until he ran out of breath. he stayed there for a bit, trying to regain not only his balance but his breath. once he was fine he started to run again.

why did running away have to be such a difficult task?

he ignored his thoughts as he focused on running and trying not to fall. now that he realized it, two bags wasn’t the best idea but that did mean he had a bit more resources.

but luckily it seemed that he didn’t have to run for much longer as he saw something.

he neared it quickly, hoping it was what he thought it was. and as he peeked his head he saw he was no longer in the woods and his guess had been correct.
