I was the only girl in the Beyclub, so I had to do my best to stick out. Specially, because I wanted one boy to actually see me. And that was our captain, Fubuki Sumiye. He would only focus on the A-team, but even if I was the runner up, he just focused on the strongest members, Toko, Koji, even Suoh, but never me. I knew him since he went to the US, I was Shu's apprentice too, and when Fubuki was ready to go back to Japan and train his own team, Shu told me to go with him, so I could learn new things and know his country. But he never talked to me! He was busy training his friends, and I remained in the shadows.

Even with that...

I fell for him

Yeah, the guy who makes my life difficult is my crush

3rd person P.O.V

The Beyclub was practicing at the gym, battling. A h/c colored girl walked towards Toko, who was celebrating his win, while Fubuki was training his opponent.

-"Hey Toko"

He looked at her -"Oh hey Y/N, how's it going?"

-"Pretty good"

-"That's nice"

-"You've got time for a battle?"- Fubuki glanced at her quickly, then at Toko

-"Oh so you want me to burst B/N again?" -He smirked

Y/N did too -"We'll see about that"

Both took aim. Koji would be the referee.

-"Alright, ready? Set!"

-"3!"

-"2!"

-"1!"

-"Let it RIP!"

-"Hyah!"

Treptune took the center -"Alright!"

B/N spun around it -"Go! Counter Break!"

That moved grabbed someone's attention, and looked at the clash between both beys

-"Hang in there Treptune!"

-"Show 'em B/N!"

B/N hit Treptune's weak spot, and it burst

-"What?!"

Y/N jumped and smiled -"I won!!!"

Toko took his bey, frustrated, but then he went and congratulated the girl -"You're stronger now! That was SUPER amazing!"

-"I know right?! All that training worked!" -She smiled

-"Now you are my rival, and I'm gonna beat you the next time!" -Toko stretched out his hand

Y/N took it, and then high-fived -"I'll be waiting for that day"

But when she looked for Fubuki, he was already leaving the building. Her breathing increased, and her smile faded little by little. The boy noticed this, and let go of her hand

-"Hey Y/N you okay?"

-"Y-yeah..."

-"You look... sad..."

She quickly shook her head -"No, I'm okay, really, I was..." -She interrupted herself with a yawn -"... Going to yawn" -She chuckled

Toko looked at the door, where Fubuki had left -"Is it about Fubuki?"
