Hi my name is Erica Hines. I live in the big city called Seattle, Washington. I work as a veterinarian for horse and other animals. I wake up to my roommate/best friend of four years yelling.
"Erica get up its time for work."Ashley yelled in my ear. I groaned.
"Stacey Give me five more minutes."I say
"Nope get up NOW."I hit her with my pillow while getting up.
"You bitch."says Stacey
"Love you!"I yell running into my bathroom.
As I look at myself in the mirror I think to myself who would ever want a girl like me. I have dark chocolate skin, big doe brown eyes, I'm 5'4, and in my words I'm fat.
Stacey says I'm exaggerating but that's easy for her to say. She's 5'6, white, pretty almond eyes, and skinny. She could get any guy she wants.
After I'm finished sulking in my thoughts I do I my daily routine. I walk out my room to the kitchen. Me and Stacey stay in a three bedroom condo. We pay half and half on rent. I'm a veterinarian and she's a interior designer.
"What you cooking?" I ask Stacey while sitting at the island.
"Sausage, pancakes, and bacon." Stacey says
After I'm finished eating my breakfast I say bye to Stacy and I head to my 2014 Jeep. Once I get in I start driving to Constance Vet (AN: made up) while listening to "Centuries" by Fall Out Boy.
"Traffic is hell today." I say to myself.
I look at the clock and see that it is 8:45 and I have to be at work at 9:00. I'm about 5 minutes out so I should be okay. Once I get to Constance I park my Jeep and head inside. I spot one of me and Stacey's best friend Alliyah.
"Hey girl." Alliyah says
"Hey boo" I say "what's been going on with you." I say and I change into my scrubs and my lab coat.
"Nothing much but Josh called last night." Josh is Alliyah's boyfriend. They have been dating for about 2 years. They are so cute together.
"What did he say." I ask
"He said he was taking me out tonight that's a struggle getting ready." She says
"He wouldn't care if you dressed up or not because he thinks you're beautiful." I agree with him. Alliyah is 5'4 my height, has a Carmel color and is thick but not fat.
"Yea girl but let's go ahead and get to work so I can see my boo later." She is so whipped.
"You are so whipped." I say
"Shut up come on." Alliyah says
With that said we head to the back of the facility.
