Viktor x Male Reader.----
It was you, Jayce and Viktor. The three of you were working together in a lab, examining and poking at the materials in front of you guys. You turn and grab a gemstone, handing it to Jayce before he almost dropped it. You all jumped slightly as the door opened suddenly.
"Boys.."
You look over your shoulder, seeing Mel standing at the door, her arms crossed. You blink before glancing at Viktor, you mouthed, Are we in trouble? To which he shrugged.
Jayce placed the gemstone down and literally tiptoed away, walking over to Mel before whispering something to her.
You and Viktor just stayed in place, trying to figure out what was going on. You saw Mel place a hand on Jayce's arm, moving it up and down slowly. That alone made you internally cringe.
Whispering exchanged between the two of them before it turned into giggling.
Jayce cleared his throat, "guys, I will.. be right back.." he said before grabbing Mels hand, walking off.
The two of them exited the room and left you and Viktor alone. Viktor sighed and shook his head before turning back to what he was doing before all that happened. You just stared at the door, squinting your eyes before beginning to think.
You hadn't even realized you were being class until Viktor poked your leg with his crane stick thing. Your head shot over to him, raising an eyebrow.
"What was that for?" You whined, reaching down and rubbing your shin.
"I was calling your name and you just stood there so.." Viktor said, his voice trailing off.
"When I press this, and place this here, lo-"
You cut Viktor off, "are they a thing now? Is that just going to happen every time we need him? Do we even need him?" You started rambling.
Viktor just stared at you, "I suppose we could do this by ourselves, but reckon why we're doing this in the first place-"
"It's not fair. She's always 'pulling him aside.' She could get in trouble by simply talking to him you know- it's- it's"
"Annoying? I agree. But I'm here, I don't have a counselor coming in pulling me out to talk everyday. Am I not good enough." Viktor said, only joking.
But you sighed, shrugging your shoulders.
"You are, but.."
"But.. but what, are you jealous?"
You stayed quiet for a second, "Kinda.. but not of them just.. them. You know? They have.. each other. And if they are a thing than yeah I'm jealous. I've barely had any friends my whole life yet alone.. a- a partner." You continued to ramble and rant until you were poked again.
"Ouch, stop doing that." You whine out again.
"You're a crybaby." Viktor said before leaning on the counter behind him. He crossed his arms, looking at you. His eyes darted up and down your body once.
His lips pursed and he pointed a finger towards you, "surely someone like you have had people at least in interest of you, yeah?"
"I mean.. I guess. I don't know. Anyone that has ever liked me.. I would.. would probably never like back. Not like that at least." You muttered, looking down.
"How come-"
Again, you cut him off. "Do you ever feel lonely?"
"Despite living in such the big city we live in, yes. I could say I live alone." He said, his hands grasping the counter the leant on to support himself.
"No I mean like-" You look at him, both of you made eye contact, quickly darting your eyes away from one another and to the floor.
"I've never had.. a partner either." Viktor spoke. "And for a while, making relationships of any kind was hard for me, especially due to.. my past you could say. I understand when you say you couldn't like any one that liked you back. In that manner of course. So yes, I do feel lonely. Almost all the time.."
You stayed quiet, listening and nodding your head. His accent made you intrigued to listen more than you already had been. You started taking interest in the way he would slightly shift his weight as he leant back, how his slim fingers wrapped around the cold of the counter top that was littered with equipment. However, you started zoning off.
"But I guess that's because.. I don't even like girls." He said, laughing it off nervously.
You darted your attention back to him and raised an eyebrow. He was quick to notice.
Still laughing nervously, he said, "N-Not like that, but like-"
"I don't either." You said, nodding your head once.
The silence that followed wasn't and awkward silence, yet a relaxing one. A relieving one. Your thoughts went crazy and so did his. As the two of you stood there, somehow and during some time your body's moved close to each other. As you shifted towards him you tripped over your own feet, falling on top of him, knocking you both over and onto the ground.
"Oh my god, are you ok-" you choked out, but when you looked down and your eyes caught his you stopped.
He laid under you, shaking his head slightly. His hands gripped your arms. You laughed slightly, a nervous chuckle.
"I-I did that on purpose.. yeah.." you mutter.
"How cliche.. if you wanted this you could've just asked." Viktor mumbled, snickering.
"Y-Yeah.." you mutter, going to stand up before you felt him pull you down.
You felt him pull you towards him so close, it was bound to happen. Your lips met. This moment was so cheesy it felt so unreal. But you wouldn't complain right now.
You pulled away, smiling, but before you could say another word the door creaked opened. Causing you to shoot up, pulling Viktor up with you. You stood and he leaned against you, a hand of his on your chest.
"Hey guys-" Jayce stood there, staring at you two...
