The Time Escaper

Time's flying,

and it's kind of scary,

to move on and grow weary.

Where's the fairy?

I need a wish,

a one-time chance to be selfish.

I implore:

Let me escape;

From this galore of sadness,

From my cruel fate...

For losing my nonchalance,

And for thinking this was madness!

For I was and still am,

 a mentally twisted human being,

who just keeps living,

whilst sleeping,

and dreaming.

For believing I would get out,

far away from this rat hole;

to find my pieces,

and once again become whole.

‘Tis too late

I deny my faith

Let me escape!
