'Mom?' Ivy called ,after she received a call from her mother.
' hello Ivy, did you buy all the things on the list? ' her mother asked in an urgent voice.
' yes mom.' Ivy replied ,her eyes drifting from the grocery list to the bag she was carrying with the items on the list, possibly searching for the things she had missed.
' good, now come back. Your father is getting all cranky because he's hungry.
And today he is supposed to find a place for us to stay for the holidays , and if he gets too cranky we won't go anywhere for two weeks!
I can't deal with your sister whining. '
' Alright, alright I'm coming ' Ivy said before hanging up.
She placed her phone in her pocket and started to walk as fast as she could, swaying her blonde hair from side to side.
She arrived home and handed the groceries to her mother.
' Finally! Quick now, help me! ' she said after taking the bag and taking the groceries out.
' Sheesh! You really can't deal Iris for a few weeks? ' asked Ivy, astonished at her mother's reaction.
' Well.... Actually I just can't stay here any longer. I really need a break and my work wouldn't give me a break if they found out I was still here' her mother replied making something delicious.
Ivy just stared at her mother ,astounded.
