"Allen wake up!" My mom shook me awake and tossed my blanket across the room. "The plane is leaving in ten minutes!" My mom had paid every penny she had to get us tickets for a plane, a ride out of the war torn country that was America. Bombings from Russia and Iran had taken out most of the airports, but so far, our towns airport remained untouched. I heard my mom waking up my sister, Mica, In the room next to mine. I quickly wrapped myself in a robe. I could change when we got to Greenland. Greenland my mom said, was one of the few country's not at war. I started down the stairs hurriedly. When I reached the bottom, I opened up the door to the garage. Our bags where already packed and in the car. I got in shotgun and turn on the radio. "The bio weapon that has recently been Nick named Aba, has now killed 299,115,850 people in Europe alone. It has also killed 90,897 in the Middle East, 1,227,418,506 in China, and 90,890,222 in the United Sates. In other news, Russia has taken over Iceland and Norway..." Said the female voice. I was staring at the roof of the car "you have the most deadly bio weapon ever made, destroying the world" I said out loud "And you named it Aba" I heard my mom yelling at Mica as she got in front seat. My sister went around and got into the back seat. Our dad had been drafted to help fight in the war almost a year ago. I heard thunder boom in the distance. It was dark and it started raining. I my mom started driving and had a frantic look on her face. I sat strait up, "mom, what's wrong?" I asked. I heard planes flying over head and more thunder. It sounded extremely close. My mom was driving way too fast for this road. I looked worriedly at my mother. "Mom...slow down" I said confused. She was staring strait at the road. We reached the airport and my mom slammed the breaks. My sister started crying, hit her head or something. My mom hurriedly got out the car. I got out quickly to follow her. "HURRY THE HELL UP!" She yelled at mica. My mom had never yelled before, and I had never heard her curse. Tears where streaming down my sisters face, my mom was pulling Mica by her arm into the airport. I grabbed our large family suitcase and followed. We had a ticket to a ride on a Savior Airlines plane. The only airline open during wartime. Which ment they could have their absurd prices and still get business. There where about twenty other people in the building, not counting staff. We walked through the security scan. The airline didn't bother to do more security wise then that, I'm not positive that was even legal. Some people had already taken their seats on the plane. My mom and my sister started walking down that tunnel thing that leads to the plane. Not shure what those are called. The family suitcase that I had been carrying got a strap stuck on a pointy pice of metal from the corner of a bench. My mom and sister had disappeared inside the plane. I heard air planes that sounded like they where getting closer, and I heard the thunder sound again but this time I saw flashes through the big airport window. That was not lighting. Those where bombs. I felt the blood drain from my face. Then a earth shatteringly loud sound blasted through the airport, the windows exploded into fragments of glass and I tumbled to the ground. There was a series of the rapid explosions and the concrete ceiling groaned with protest and caved in. A massive slab of concrete fell and landed with on part leaning on the bench and the other part just passed me, shielding me from all the rest of the debris. I curled into a ball crying and then, I blacked out.
