about three weeks have gone by since the first time you saw him on the skytrain and you've been wanting to ask for his number for a week now

you both step onto the train and go to your respective spots, this time you notice that he's with someone

a friend?

the two were talking and you accidentally made eye contact with his friend, making you panick and look away

your heart started to beat faster and you thought it was about to burst out of your chest

throwing your head back and closing your eyes you calmed yourself down

until a voice startled you semi-shouting, "hey!"

"shit, sorry, didn't mean to scare you" he said, worried that you might've hit your head on the glass

it was his friend

you sweatdrepped and chuckled nervously "no no, it's alright"

after checking you out one more time and making sure you really were okay, he sighed of relief

he leaned in closer, "mind id can grab your number for my friend?"

you widened your eyes "seriously?"

he chuckled, "yeah," he paused as if he was about to say something but stopped, "so can i have your number?"

you stood there with your mouth agape, unable to process what exactly is happening

you looked back to see him looking at you which made him look away

you smiled and turned back to his friend, "sure"
