it's finally the end of the year, and your bestfriend was overly excited for you when you told her almost five months ago that you were moving to that school; almost choking you in a hug

apparently, your parents intended for you to go to that exact school before you convinced them to let you stay at your old school

everyone cheered, celebrating another year of school done and over with

you joined in, laughing knowing that this time next year, you're going to be in a different school with your newest friend and boyfriend

---

you walked through the front doors and took a deep breath in.

you walked into your rival teams gymnasium for the first time with your new schools volleyball teams

f/n left to warm up, not wanting to see you two be all 'ushy gushy' as he calls it

h/n kissed you anyways, "you're going to be amazing, love"

you smirked, "i know," you playfully nudged his shoulder, "and you will too, so get your a$$ on the court"

the both of you laughed and he went towards the court while you stayed back for a bit

you smiled to yourself

this is what you wanted, what you should've already had. or perhaps it happened because you didn't go to that school in the first place. if you originally had went there, who knows if it would have the same outcome?

either way, this wasn't a selfish decision to make. despite not seeing your old friends during school, switching schools has made you a lot happier

and that's all that matters.
