Two years of hell had passed since her sister was found. Now here she was walking up the pathway towards the one place hopefully the both of them could become whole again. Deep purple eyes scanned the tall double glass building as the truth of her new reality was settling in: She was entering the Hero course of one of the most prestigious hero schools in all of Japan: U.A. Lindsey Stopped for a moment and set her school bag on the ground and twirled her delicate fingers through her long curly hair, yanking as a chunk of strands get caught on them. She rumbled and glared at the tangled hair.
A lot has happened to the world since. Lindsey remembered pulling from her sisters embrace when a breaking news segment interrupted the usual Law and Order episode that played during that time of day in the hospital. The Symbol of Peace: All Might had officially retired. Footage of his battle with a fearsome villain had made him spent all that what was left of One for All. Since the events that took place after the world had learned of All of One and its opposite One for All. It was learned that All might had lost the power of One for all but had passed it on to his successor. The successor was not named and eventually The League of Villains, AFO and finally the Paranormal Liberation Front. It was kept from, the public just how it was all resolved. But that several Japanese pro heroes were killed. Life was attempting to return to normal.
What awe and wonder it was to be standing here; to be here at U.A. After giving a heavy sigh, she adjusted the jacket of her school uniform, picked up her back and headed inside. Lindsey had only been there once for an interview with her and Arias new legal guardian, Aizawa Sota, so she couldn't really remember where the teachers lounge was located. Seeing a tall student with bluish black hair, dark eyes and glasses, she stopped him.
"Excuse me!" she stated as she jogged after him. He was quite the quick walker and seemed to check his watch a few times.
"Yes? Oh you must be one of the new transfer students." The boy stated. "Are you looking for the teachers lounge?" his voice was slightly deep and he seemed very tightly wound. He made chopping movements with his arms before gesturing in a direction. "It's this way follow me!" He smiled slightly. Bowing gently Lindsey accepted his offer and followed him. There was an awkward silence between them as they walked but it wasnt a very long walk.
"Thank you so much!" Lindsey said as she laughed slightly. "I've only been here once before with my guardian." She twirled her fingers in her hair again and glared at the knots that her fingers got caught in once more.
"It was a pleasure Ms..." He smiled gently to her
"Call me Lindsey." she giggled slightly as he bowed stiffly and nodded.
"I'm Iida Tenya, call me Iida!" He called before jogging away quickly. What an odd boy. He was so tense. Lindsey sighed, shrugged then gently knocked on the door to the teachers lounge before opening the sliding door.
All eyes turned towards her as she walked in and bowed gently. The tired eyes, signature wraps and scraggly black hair of Aizawa was spotted near back. He gestured for her to come to him. Upon reaching his desk he again gestured to her but this time to sit. Lindsey complied.
"As you know your sister wont be joining until a bit later. You'll be in my class 3-A. After school I'll have you tour the grounds with the class rep and then have you settle into your room at the dorms. since you'll officially be a student. Keep in mind the only reasons the two of you were accepted at all is because of what you and your sister went through and because I'm your guardian. If you slip up I won't hesitate to send you to another school and separate the two of you. He stated matter in a matter of fact tone, while crossing his arms. Lindsey only nodded, understanding the situation.
"With that said," he continued now relaxing his arms, "I hope the two of you will become great heroes and will find yourselves a good home here and make some close friends. You need it. Most of all Aria. Now, lets get this over with." He stood up and proceeded out of the teachers lounge and towards the 3-A class room.
The cheerful noise of classmates reuniting could be heard emanating from 3-A. The second the door slide open with a whoosh however, everyone settled immediately and Aizawa entered with Lindsey closely behind. Iida sat up even straighter than he already was seeing the now familiar face of the girl he encountered earlier. She waved slightly and smiled. He only nodded stoically. All eyes were on her and the class began to whisper amongst themselves instantly.
"Ooh! another girl! This is great!" a pink girl with horns whispered with her back against the wall, to the blonde boy with a black lightning bolt running horizontally in his hair. He nodded enthusiastically his eyes wide and with a large grin on his face.
Aizawa simply slammed his hand on the podium and that made the class go quiet again. Lindsey stood there a bit flushed as the home room teacher gently shook his hand. Perhaps he didnt mean to hit his hand so hard.
"As you can easily see," he began," you have a new student. In fact there will be a second new student joining later in the year. This is Lindsey Brocklore. Introduce yourself..." that was all he said before zipping himself up into his all too favorite sleeping bag which seemed to have turned more into a suit than a bag with places for both his arms and legs.
Lindsey bowed gently looking a bit perplexed at the now slumbering teacher
"Thank you for having me in your class. I'm Lindsey Brocklore but you can all just call me Lindsey." She was a bit nervous as she wasn't as slim as all of the girls in the room. She was a bit heavier set but still had a good figure. She twirled her fingers through her hair and again it got caught in the curliness. She wrenched it out and continued.
"I came here from America with my twin sister Aria. As Mr. Aizawa said, she'll be joining the class later. Uhm what do you guys wanna know?" Her nervousness was starting show just as a boy with messy green hair raised his hand, his eyes just as bright as his smile. He sat in the last row third from the back.
"What kind of quirk do you and your sister have?" His gentle voice called. His hand was already writing in a notebook.
"Well uhm Mine is called 'Frost Mason'. I can create objects and structures from ice and produce snow. As well as freeze things." She smiled a bit nervously as a boy in the last seat in the third row seemed to show a bit more interest. His hair was two toned: one side white, one side red.
"As for my sister, uhm" she trailed off and looked to the home room teacher who lazily shook his head no as he seemed to be awake from his sudden slumber.
"That's something she'll have to tell you when she gets here." She laughed a bit.
"Alright, class now you're going to do some seat changing." Aizawa noted as he yawned. "Iida, Yaoyoroza you do it". He snoozed off. The two class reps glanced at each other and the spiky ponytailed haired girl shrugged from the far back corner of the classroom. They stood and walked to the front of the class
"It's good to have you with us." Iida placed a gentle hand on Lindseys shoulder and smiled.
"Thank you," she simply replied with a bright smile on her face. She was worried though. Not for herself, but for her sister. Would this class be too much for her? They were all so energetic. She let another nervous laugh escape her lips before Iida led the class in reassigning seats.
