She kept her eyes shut tightly. The flickering light kept flashing within her closed eyelids. She just wanted it to be over with. Why did her Idol group have to tour in America? She had left for a reason and didn't want to return.  The pain was immense. She tried to tune out the voices in the background. One was enjoying the torture she was enduring while another mumbled to himself. The one cutting her grumbled to himself in annoyance. To him this was a waste of time. They needed to leave. The local Heroes would be on the scene any moment.  The fourth assailant stayed silent, but she knew he was there watching. One final cut and a bout of immense pain and she passed out.

The passage of time seemed to be nonexistent. Her eyes weakly fluttered open. Gentle sunlight shone in through the hospital window. Her pale purple eyes squinted at the too bright sunlight as it reflected off the stark white walls of the hospital room. There was a blurry figure seated inside a chair in the corner of the room covered in something fuzzy. They seemed to be asleep, soft breathing filling the space in between the beeps of the hospital machines. It took her a minute to realize who it was. Aria slowly sat up and blinked the sleep away. She felt off; empty. Something was missing from her that was normally a natural part of her. Rubbing her breast bone as she closed her eyes once again, realization slammed into her. It was gone. Or maybe it was just hiding; her Quirk. It was then that the events of the concert flooded back to her. She held her hands to her mouth to keep from vomiting everywhere as her stomach rolled in horror. Tears began to stream down her cheeks as she looked at her tightly bandaged arms. Looking down at her legs her mouth ran dry as she ran her fingers gently over the bandages that wrapped over them. Blood had soaked through in some spots, but it seemed dry. How long was she unconscious?

Her twin sister stirred slightly in the plastic chair. They were technically twins and looked a lot alike but they weren't identical. Aria had pale purple eyes while Lindsey's eyes were a bright deep purple. Aria had a specific effect to her hair due to her quirk. But her quirk was missing. A million questions blazed through her mind as panic rose. Did the galaxy sparkle that shone on stage disappear too? Could she even sing anymore? What about her idol sisters? The last thing she remembered before the torture was the lights going out and the screams of the concert goers. It all happened so fast. She shook her head and wiped the tears as they continued to crawl down her cheeks. She pulled some of her bangs to look at them. Purple. No starry effect. It really was gone! She lost it and started sobbing. It wasn't enough that she had to go through that massacre but to take her quirk too? What was the point!? Everything was just too much. Was everyone from the venue dead? Why was she the only one alive? What exactly happened? She shook her head and screamed as she cried.
A gentle hand placed itself on her shoulder as a weight was felt being added to the bed. Aria looked up to the gentle face of her twin, small beads of tears in her eyes and a sad smile on her face. Nothing was said.  Nothing really needed to be said as her sister squeezed her shoulder softly. Lindsey simply took Aria into her arms and hugged her.
