"Run." James whispered, her head looking over her shoulder to see the blonde man, standing at at least six feet, body clad in a traditional black suit, donned with a black bow tie. "Andy told you to not let me out of your sight." She whispered back, her tears rolling down her cheeks faster than she could capture her breathing. "You're being difficult dove, go." James smiled gently, patting the outside of her thigh with his bloodied fingers, the dark red a huge contrast to her skin. Mike yelled, a bullet striking him in his shoulder while she flinched, standing up slowly to wipe her tears. She knew running wasn't an option, they'd just catch up to her. Addison knew her fate was sealed in this moment, whatever the man decided to do to her, she'd take in stride, she was lethal in her own away after all. It took 5 seconds after the bullet hit Mike before a hand was thrown over her mouth, a silent scream leaving her lips when they took the phone from her bag and threw it on the ground so it couldn't be traced, a strong arm locking around her stomach as she was lifted to the back of a waiting white SUV, hands clasped together in her lap by plastic zip ties, and a sack placed over her head to shield her view of where she was going. She could just pray now that Andy would find her, and he would save her.
The sound of screeching tires made James flinch, blood pouring out of his two bullets wounds, his eyes fluttering shut, groaning as he pressed against the sidewalk reaching out for Addison's phone. A shaky, bloodied hand reaching out aimlessly while fingers wrapped around the device, blood smearing as he typed in Andy's number, collapsing back on the pavement with a groan, his heart hammering in his chest, looking over to see Mike laying in his own blood, before the line clicked over. "Kitten, not now." Andy growled harshly into the phone, a cracking noise being heard as his fist collided with the man who sold them out to the the police, a wail leaving the slumped mans lips. "Boss." James groaned out, a pain noise leaving his lips while Andy halted all motions, heart fighting against his ribcage when silence was met on the opposite end of the line. "They shot us, Mike is unconscious, I'm fighting, they took her. I tried to get her to run, I tried so hard." A choked up explanation came out of James lips as he felt the tears well up in his eyes. "She's stubborn, where are you?" Andy asked, stepping over the body before quickly rushing to his office, searching for the keys of his silver Audi. "Outside the penthouse building, they took her." James breathed out, his eyes falling shut as his version started to fade. "I'll be there soon." Was a muted response from Andy before James succumbed to the loss of blood, his eyes shutting while he drifted out of consciences.
The ride was a distant memory from Addison, the last thing she vaguely remembered was a hard blow to the temple, her vision immediately blacking out while she slumped in the seat, a welt instantly appearing. The men worked fast, lifting her lip body out of the car and taking her into an abandoned warehouse, setting her into a small wooden chair that creaked below her weight, arms twisted so they were locked behind the back and ankles zip tied to the two front legs. "Wake her up." The rival spoke, yanking the sack off her head while one of his men tapped her cheek, watching as her eyes slowly fluttered open. The throb from her welt was ever apparent as she looked around the room lazily, rolling her head back to look at the man in front of her. "If you wanted to take me out you could've just asked." Addison teased, a sly smile gracing her pretty pink lips when she met the eyes of the man in front of her, watching his focus break for a moment. "I take what I want." He replied, walking over to her, two fingers pressed against her chin to tilt her head up to him. "And what is it that you want Mr..." Addison trailed off, blue eyes meeting the hazel of the man above her. "Samuels. Leon Samuels."
"Well Mr. Samuels, this isn't a way to impress a lady." Addison teased, tensing as he gripped her jaw, fingers digging in too hardly, nails biting into the supple skin of her face. "I'm not here to impress you, someone wants you to be scared, said I could do what I want." Leon spoke, kneeling down so he was eye level, hazel meeting blue in an intense stare. "It takes a lot to scare me, I've been through a lot." Addison spoke, her voice cracking as her throat ran dry, feeling his calloused fingers move her dress down slightly, fingers pressing into the scarred tattoo. "Ah mariposa, you're the one they talk about." He whispered, watching her eyes lock on his fingers. "What are you gonna do to me? You gonna kill me sir?" She whispered, her doe shaped eyes taking him off guard when he finally got a good look at her, his heart skipping a beat for a moment. "You're too pretty to kill mariposa." He spoke, fingers leaving the scarring tattoo, thumb pressing into her bottom lip, forcing them apart while she gasped at the pressure. "This pretty mouth better not talk back to me, I'm going to make a call." Leon spoke, pulling his finger away before turning on his heel. Addison knew she shouldn't push her luck, but what fun in the game is there if you don't poke the bear. "What you gonna do if I do decide to talk back? And make a call? You don't have my own fate designed to your will?"
