Emery's POV
It was a cold foggy morning, I had gather my stuff the night before wanting to just escape my "beloved" home once again. The summer's were hard being here with my father and trying to get along with him. Our relationship only grew harder to manage as I got older, we had a argument on the night before of me wanting to move eventually near Hogwarts when I got older. I didn't want to stay in this small town, I didn't want to be near my father any longer due to the hostile situation we've been in since I first left for Hogwarts back in First year.
I grabbed my suitcase and my cat carrier, and decided to head off to catch the train. I was excited and even more excited to see my beloved friends. Our friendships have only grown more and more each year, we've had crazy adventures that even I wouldn't have known we would be getting into too. I had to take a train to London which wasn't to bad and get's there pretty quickly. When I did arrive in London, and finally got on the Platform of where it all started I felt already at home. I climbed onto the big red train and made my way through the small walkways to meet up with my friends, eventually I did get there and Hermione was the first one to shoot up and give me a big hug "Em I've missed you so much! How was your summer?" she smiled brightly pulling away, Harry grabbed my belongings and put them on the storage shelf before giving me a small tight hug. "Same as usual, Me and dad have been arguing most of it, then I've just been studying" I shrugged sitting beside Hermione, I looked over at Ron which was stuffing his face giving me a small warm smile before continuing to eat. I looked over at Harry which he now has some bags under his eyes and you could tell he hasn't been getting much sleep, He must be getting more nightmares which breaks my heart even more.
We all caught up on how our summers were which was mostly me hearing the three talk about theirs since mine wasn't very much to catch up on. I felt even more at home with my friends and I wouldn't trade this feeling for the world, we were having a grand time before somebody slid open the door and leaned against the frame.
"Well look who we have here, a mudblood, half blood, and two idiots" Draco Malfoy spit back the insult at us, Hermione got silent and my face turned red from anger. "Shove off Malfoy don't you have anything better else to do with your pathetic like" Ron opened his mouth standing up, after puberty has hit both Harry and Ron.. So has their anger. Malfoy got face to face with Ron with a disgusted face and before you know it Harry grabbed Ron back mumbling it isn't worth it which led to Malfoy laughing "Yeah listen to your boyfriend, Weasley" before looking down at me, he took a minute as if he was processing something "It's sad your pathetic witch of a mum wasn't here, granted she did deserve what was coming to her" he smirked slightly and before I was able to process anything I was standing up and slapped Malfoy across his face.
Hermione gasped and Harry even Ron was dumbfounded "Don't you ever, and I mean ever talk about my mother Malfoy, Are you mad that your father doesn't love you and you have to find attention else where?!" I shoved him out of our coach and slammed the door shut, He was furious and stormed off, mumbling something under his breath, something I was to upset to hear. I sat back down next to Hermione as she rubbed my arm gently before Harry spoke up "I'm sorry he said that Em, but that git did deserve that slap by now mate" he patted my leg gently before I gave him a small smile. I knew that this year was going to be different, I wasn't going to be bullied by Draco Malfoy.. Not anymore.
