Elle's POV:

"TALIA! WHERE IS THE EYELINER!" I shouted. "NEVER MIND I FOUND IT"

"Next time actually look before shouting me." Talia said as she walked into my room.

"Girl you look really good." I complemented.

"I know." she stated whilst doing a little twirl.

The dress I'm wearing is nice like don't get me wrong it makes me look sexy as hell, I just, I dunno, I'm not really in the mood to go to prom.

"Hey wipe that lil frown off your face."

"I wasn't frowning." I stated.

"You so were, I also bet you were thinking of her," my cheeks flush a deep red, "you need to stop thinking about her, like you guys are over and you are free now, GO FUCK WHO YOU WANTTTTT!"

"Yeah I know."

It's just that all I can think about is her, I know I shouldn't but I do.

"We should get going." Talia said whilst doing the strap on her heels.

*ding*

Talia looked down at her phone.

"Who's that?" I asked.

"Oh just Lucas," she said as she started to read the text she just received, "he...he's gay." at this point tears were running down her face, her mascara running but she stood up. "It's fine, I'm okay, it's not as if we were dating for long and I guess I could kind of tell."

FUCK. Well at least I might get out of going to prom now?

"Aww Talia are you okay? I mean we don't have to go tonight, we could just stay in and watch a movie?" I asked.

"No. We are going, I'm not going to let some little shit ruin my prom and stop me from being prom queen."

I really don't want to go.

"Yeah I'll go and we are going to have the best night as two sexy, hot, single bitches."

"Thanks Elle, I know you don't want to go and that I'm probably not in the right mind set right now but it's prom soooooo let's get our freak on," I raised my eyebrow, "I'm joking but for real we deserve to enjoy ourselves."

Talia starts to walk out the door.

"Wait." I said.

"Huh?"

"Your makeup." I pointed out.

"Oh right yeah, I forgot."

Aurora's POV:

"Jake, are you sure I look good?" I asked my brother.

"How many times do I have to tell you? You look great and Elle is going to be all over you." he stated as he fixed his hair.

I kinda hope she is...

"Eww not like that get those dirty thoughts out of your head." Jake said as he scrunched his face.

"I didn't say anything?"

"No but it was written all over your face."

"Ugh just shut up and drive us to prom already."

The music was loud but not eardrum bursting loud. The room was warm, however the air outside was cool. The people were dancing, laughing and colliding with one another.
