My Fear has been realized!

Hermione's POV

"Remus? Remus John Lupin?" I said as my eyes grew very wide. I cannot believe this why do I have to be so stupid? Now I'm back in the past, wait, if Professor Lupin is here, maybe Harry's parents are here too.

I'm in 1979! The Marauder's time!

I was in the middle of my thoughts when I felt professor still looking at me narrowing his eyes suspicously as he asked how I knw his name. Oh no what will I say now? Think you stupid girl! Think!

"Oh it's--it's just a lucky guess" I said nervously, oh you stupid girl Hermione! For witch who passed all her N. E. W.Ts you can't come up with a smart excuse!

But then, as if reading my mind, Lily walked up to me, holding my hand saving me from the very curious Remus Lupin and whispered.

" I should take you to Professor Dumbledore, he knows what to do with you"

"Sure, thank you" I replied gratefully, then we left the common room...

At the hallway ...

As we walked through the hallway Lily started a conversation.

"Sorry about Remus, he's a curious guy, so don't mind him"

"Oh that's alright, really" I replied smiling at her nervously, she smiled back at me

"By the way you haven't told me your name yet, what is it?" She asked.

I quickly replied

"My apologies, I'm Hermione, Hermione Granger, and your surname? "

In the corner of my eye I saw her smiled and said "It's Evans, Lily Evans"

Evans?! I'm walking with Harry's mother! Why havan't I realized it before? So that explains the bright green eyes, oh how I wish Harry is here to see them I'm sure he'll cry in joy, of course not in front of them because it will be weird and all--

I was bothered with my thoughts by Lily.

"Hermione, Hermione are you alright you look really pale, We could stop by at the Hospital wing before we go to the Headmaster's office, if you want?"

' Am I really that pale when I got surprised? ' I thought as I looked at her confused, and so I replied at her question "No, no, we don't need to go there, this often happens to me, but thank you for the concern Lily"

It is so weird calling Mrs. Potter by her first name.

"Are you sure you don't want to go?" Lily once asked again looking very nervous.

She is very caring. I should tell that to Harry... If I come back to my time.

"Yes Lily I am sure, look were already here" I replied as we stopped infront of the Gargoyle statue and then I spoke.

"Sherbet lemons" after that I heard Lily giggled softly and said " Hermione, that's not the password it's Fizzing Whizbee " then after that the gargoyle statue concealed a large, round staircase.

Oh right.

We climbed up and a few minutes later we were already on the third floor, Lily knocked on the door then we heard Professor Dumbledore's old yet sweet voice:

" Come in, come in," Lily opened the door, she came in first and I followed her inside and greeted them.

I saw Professor Dumbledore talking to a boy with averagely-long black, greasy hair and deep obsidian eyes, I assumed that he's in Slytherin because of his robes.
Once we got in, both of them looked at me and Lily, Professor Dumbledore smiling at us sweetly, while the other boy was glaring at me but when he glanced at Lily he didn't glared at her, He smiled sweetly like the Headmaster's and greeted her anxiously
