Godzilla eyed up the bizarre kaiju with confusion, wondering how a canine like this could get so large. A titan like this was certainly a rare sight to behold, but at the moment that was the least of his worries. The two giant beasts charged each other and rammed so hard it caused a huge shockwave across the surrounding area. Godzilla was clearly the stronger one, as he was able to force the strange kaiju backward across the ground before shooting his atomic breath to send it skidding across the dirt. The reptilian titan knew he had to do everything he could to make the titan submit to him, or kill it if necessary. However, as he stood over its body, he hadn't accounted for the long tail it possessed. And before he knew it, the tail had wrapped itself around his neck and began strangling him as the kaiju rose to its feet and sent him flying back with the force of a powerful purple beam that sliced Godzilla's skin open. He fell to the ground reeling in pain from the hit, but got back up as the kaiju ran full speed at him. As it went to fire another beam at the king of monsters, Godzilla spun around and swatted it in the face with his tail, forcing the beast to fire its beam into the air. With his opponent stunned, Godzilla took the opportunity to tackle the creature and pin it to the ground with his massive foot. But before he could fire his breath at its face, the kaiju glowed bright red and unleashed an energy pulse so powerful it sent the kaiju king flying through the air and crashing to the ground.
After getting stunned by the pulse's power, Godzilla slowly stood up to get his bearings before realizing the heat from the blast had burnt some of his dorsal spines completely off. Before he could fully realize what had happened, however, another beam hit him in the neck and shredded the skin next to his gills, causing him to bleed. Godzilla then turned back to face the mystery titan, its eyes glowing purple with rage. Even though some of his spines had effectively been melted off, he could still use his atomic breath, which he fired at the kaiju in an attempt to burn its fur off and expose its true skin. However, the titan swiped its tail in front of it and created a plasma shield, which seemed to absorb the energy from the breath and convert it into energy the beast could use against the king. It then proceeded to fire a purple beam with a blue glow outline back at Godzilla, who fired his atomic breath again to beam lock with the enemy. The beam collision caused a huge explosion to go off, blinding both Godzilla and the titan as the fireball surged toward them. It was at this moment that Rodan woke up and saw the blast coming at him, to which he promptly took off into the air to get away from the flame. He landed on top of a nearby mountain that rose up from the outback, wondering if Godzilla had even survived such a catastrophic explosion such as this.
When the dust cleared from the explosion, Godzilla stood up from the dusty ground in a daze, before looking around to try and locate the mystery kaiju. However, it was nowhere to be seen, and he growled in anger when he came to the realization it had retreated while he had been blinded. He looked around for Rodan and noticed him perched on the mountain, and his face immediately changed to worry. "What happened, Rodan?", he asked the avian kaiju. Rodan looked down at the ground, appearing to be disappointed with himself before answering in a somber tone, "I flew ahead of you to check this area, and the kaiju shot me down before proceeding to beat me senseless..." Godzilla's eyes widened when he heard this, before they turned blue with fury and he squinted his eyes to the point you couldn't really see them anymore. "This kaiju isn't going to give up easily, that beam it has is very powerful", Godzilla muttered under gritted teeth. Now that he had fought this titan and it had shown what it was capable of, he needed to formulate a plan that would make it submit to him. He looked at Rodan and motioned for the bird kaiju to follow him back to the sea. Rodan nodded and the two titans returned to the Pacific and headed out across the horizon.
Mothra rejoined the duo in the middle of the ocean and they made their way back towards Monster Island to think of what to do next. However, Rodan began to hear strange sounds coming from an island to the east of them, and started to fly in that direction. "Wait, where are you going, Rodan?!" Mothra called out to Rodan as he flew away. After she got no answer from the avian kaiju, she turned to follow him. Godzilla noticed this change in direction, and followed suit to see what they were up to. He followed them to an island in the middle of the ocean, and surfaced from the water while creating a massive tidal wave in the process. "What in the name of the Hollow Earth has gotten into them?", Godzilla thought to himself as he trudged through the treelines. Rodan and Mothra were nowhere in sight as he crested the hill near the shore, and he desperately looked all around to see if he could spot them. After not seeing any sign of his titan companions, he continued deeper into the island's landscape in an attempt to locate them before something bad happened.
While Godzilla was in a mad dash to find them, Mothra and Rodan had journeyed farther into the island than he thought they had. "So why did you come here instead of follow us to Monster Island?", Mothra questioned with a slightly disappointed tone. Rodan turned to look at her with a serious face and answered curtly, "I heard strange noises coming from this area, but I don't know what it was." Mothra knew that, despite his crazy antics, he was never one to go off on his own for a sick joke, so she took him seriously and followed him into a large cave that the sounds were coming from. Rodan looked around, unable to see any further than the edge of his beak as they were plunged into pitch black darkness. "I can't see a thing down here, how are we going to find these noises?", he thought to himself. Then a thought hit his rock-hard head: Mothra's wings could emit a bioluminescent glow to light up the surrounding area. He glanced at the moth kaiju and gestured to her wings. Mothra tilted her head to the side, as if not getting the memo. "Make your wings glow, it will give us a light", he responded to answer her puzzled look. Now getting the idea, Mothra lifted her wings as they turned a turquoise color and illuminated the surrounding area. What lay before their eyes shocked them, for they had entered a massive cavern that was at least 3 times as tall as Rodan was. And scribbled all over the walls were ancient pictures of humanity's past and the titans.
However, upon closer inspection, these weren't just any stories. While a good many of them depicted stories centered around Godzilla and the other titans, the most prominently featured monsters were ones that had a striking resemblance to the titan Rodan had seen in Australia. The colors of these beasts varied widely, from dark brown to light purple, and from black to very light gray and white. Mothra's eyes widened at the sight, as these stories didn't just depict the life of these kaijus, but about something far scarier. Rodan and Mothra looked at one of the pictures together, and their hearts sank. There, in the very middle, was a large group of what they assumed to be primitive human beings with weapons surrounding two giant creatures: One of the two was a creature from that titan's species, and it appeared to be light brown with glowing blue spines and eyes. It had various injuries on it ranging from cuts and bruises to fur literally missing from parts of its body. But then they saw what the other creature was. It was a massive beast with pitch black fur, orange glowing eyes and massive orange wings that resembled the wings Ghidorah had. Also just like Ghidorah, it was firing an electrical beam from its jaws, and was in a beam lock with the wolf-Godzilla monster. They stared in pure awe and horror, before the truth hit them. That creature that was attacking the others wasn't the real threat, the winged titan in this picture was. "We need to do something to help that creature before this beast finds him. If it attacked in the past then it likely wiped out its whole species. That titan must be the last one", Rodan said to Mothra, now with a sympathetic tone as he glanced back up at the scene before them. They knew now that this wasn't an act of defiance, it was an act....of revenge.
