"Are you ever going to leave the house?" Yoongi asks.
"Never."
"I'll evict you."
Jungkook removes the cover from over his head and whines. "He's so pretty and I messed it up."
"Literally how?"
"You know how! I told you and Hobi everything!"
Yoongi sighs and shoves his cousin over before sitting on the bed with him. "Life isn't smooth sailing, Kook, especially when it comes to romance. Did I tell you about how I met Hobi?"
Jungkook shakes his head, sitting up and interlocking his hands together as he prepares for a child.
Yoongi lets out a huff when he notices his cousin's posture, his doe eyes focused and his shoulders squared.
Cute.
He clears his throat. "I was a waiter and Hobi was with another guy on a date. It was an accident, but I ended up spilling his Sprite all over him. It was ice cold. I was mortified, but he laughed it off. I had run off after helping, making someone else take over the table. I never wanted to see him again. Well, I did, but I didn't. You know what I mean?"
Jungkook nods, understanding his cousin perfectly.
"Well, apparently, Hobi didn't feel the same way. He literally got a job at the place I worked so he could talk to me again. He apparently developed a crush on me, but it took a while for either of us to make a move. I mean, Hobi even called me his work friend. We were basically going on dates at that point!" Yoongi rants. "But I digress. You know what I'm saying, right?"
"That you're bad at romance?"
Yoongi cuffs him. "You're such a little shit, you know that? But no, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, people aren't as quick to hate you as you think. What might seem to be a terrifying event now, might actually be something you both laugh about in the future. Plus, your little 'mishap' was just your adorable attempt at flirting. He probably wants to see you again."
"Really? Me?"
"Yeah. I mean, I don't mean to brag, but I raised you well."
"I've been here for a little over a week!" Jungkook laughs. "But thank you." He looks at the stamp card on his desk. "Maybe I'll try and earn that free ice cream..."
"And a boyfriend too."
"Haha, never gonna happen."
