Chapter 2

Tatsumi and Esdeath sit by on a hill at night watching the members of The Jaegers who are about to attack a bandit base until Tatsumi notices someone.

"Wait, that's the bitch who killed Sheele." Tatsumi said to himself looking at Seryu

"I have to keep cool and remember what bro told me it takes more than passion to survive I must get back to base maybe now it could be my opportunity" he says to himself

Suddenly Esdeath puts her hand on his blushing.

"Ah shit not anymore." Tatsumi yells mentally

Time Skip a few minutes later

"Wow." Tatsumi says aloud looking at the burning bandit base

"Tatsumi soon you'll be able to do that too because I will train you." Esdeath told Tatsumi

"Uh, thanks Miss Esdeath." Tatsumi replied

"I'm not like what everyone says, for I have not been quite myself lately since I have been experiencing love and well it feels good." Esdeath continued blushing

"Hmm maybe I could convince her to join the revolutionary army." Tatsumi said to himself

"You got this Tatsumi, you can win her tonight". he continued talking himself in a pose which only made Esdeath blush more

Timeskip

His heart beating fast from the silhouette of Esdeath's body taking a shower.

"Well things got hot and heavy pretty quickly." He told himself nervously

"Get your head out of the gutter, man." He says to himself breaking him out of those kind of thoughts

"Just keep your cool and convince her I must not let her intimidate me." He continued to himself

Hearing Esdeath come out of the shower he looks over and sees her in a long button shirt that hasn't been buttoned all the way.

"Sorry for the wait."  She says to him

"No it didn't take long, nope not at all." Tatsumi says blushing and panicking

"Can I get anything?" Esdeath asks

"Nope, nothing at all." Tatsumi says still blushing and panicking

"You seem a bit nervous." Esdeath said catching on

"I'm not nervous at all." Tatsumi said nervously in a panic

"Ha aren't you just adorable." She said to him

"Well I don't know much about these feelings either but if we just let our bodies do the talking everything should just work out." She said blushing

"So you like Miss Esdeath?" Tatsumi asked

Suddenly Esdeath kissed him and he falls back onto the bed

"If I didn't love you,you wouldn't be on this bed with me." She answered his question

"Okay okay can you hear me out then." He said

"Of course in order to be intament we have to know each other more." Esdeath said

"The empire is a big mess right now." He says to her

"I would say all the citizens would agree with you right now so what's your point?" Esdeath said

"If I'm going to be doing this kind of work I think I should work for the revolutionary army." Tatsumi said which made Esdeaths blushing happy face into a cold one

"And together I think we could save tons of lives."

"Tatsumi..." Esdeath says before smacking him

"You do realize you said that to a General for the empire." Esdeath continued

"I know how stupid it sounds to you but if things don't change we might have to fight each other." Tatsumi said

Esdeath suddenly licks where she smacked Tatsumi, shocking him completely.

"There's no need to worry about keeping you by my side forever. I know you don't like the life you were living but with me you won't need to work for anything. I promise to be faithful and to never look at another man."  Es death told Tatsumi

"It's not that I appreciate the sediment but it's not right if I'm the only one who finds happiness." Tatsumi says

"You have a family I can offer to make sure that they get protection too." Esdeath said

"That's not it, I want an empire where the citizens can enjoy their lives so this empire needs to be torn down." Tatsumi said

"Tatsumi." Esdeath said

"Don't you understand?" Tatsumi continued rambling on

"No, I do not understand the world is meant for the strong to feast on the weak." Esdeath said

Which shocks Tatsumi.

"No I can't love someone who thinks that way if you cared for me even just for a tiny bit you would be pleased to learn to love life." Tatsumi said

"That face I love It." Esdeath says to herself blushing

"Tatsumi understand something, you'll be the one changing for me that's all there is to it." Esdeath said to him

"You can't expect me to change what I believe because you say so even if you torture me." He said back

"You're so headstrong you know that." Esdeath said

"Maybe that's why he was able to smile so freely." She said to herself

"I must have his heart for my own." She continues to herself

"Well anyway you must be tired we should get some sleep then we can continue this tomorrow." Esdeath said

"Yeah I'll just sleep on the couch." Tatsumi said trying to walk to one before getting grabbed

"You can sleep on the bed, I won't do anything." Esdeath said

"You know what I need to go take a shower." He says trying to run off

"Please don't wander if the palace guard sees you, they will kill you on sight." Esdeath said

Tatsumi just stops sadly and goes into the shower. After his shower he lays in the bed with Esdeath. He falls asleep before her because she is thinking a lot about what he said that night.
