"Wake up sleepyhead!"

You open your eyes and see your boyfriend, Camilo Madrigal standing next to the bed.

"I don't wanna drag you out of bed." He says, laying next to you now. "Then don't.." you say softly as your stretching. He sighs as he leans to your ear. "Happy birthday Belleza, i love you.." (Beauty) he kisses you. "Thank you cariño" (sweetheart)

"Hey Princesa, i got something for you, i can't wait longer to give it to you. I got you a present."

"Camilo, i said you didn't have to give me a present." "I know, but, your my girlfriend so i have to" he smiles at you.

He reaches for the ground and comes back up again with a box with a ribbon on it. "Here it is!" "You had it hidden there the whole time?" "Yeah, and actually you walked in on me when i was busy packing it, but you didn't realize." He chuckles.

"Open the present. I wanna see your reaction." He hands you the present, you take it and open it. Inside, there was a handmade plushie of your favourite animal, you stare at it.

"Okay, it's not the best thing but, i know it's your favourite animal. If you don't like it, i will give it to Antonio and give you something you li-" he says nervous. "You made this yourself?" You says, still in disbelief as you hold the plushie in your hands. "Well, yes, i wanted to give you something special because, i love you." Your eyes begin to tear up a little bit. You look at him and hug him, as tight as you can. He hugs you back and whispers, "You like it?" "Of course i like it you idiot, i love it, I love you." He smiles softly at you, and kisses you.

"Camilo? Your still in there! You said you would take her outside!" Dolores says, kinda annoyed.

"Dang it, Dolores why are you always listening in on me?" Camilo says also annoyed now, seeing him frustrated is so cute.

"You promised!" "Alright! C'mon Y/N" he pulls you out of bed, he grabs your dress and gives it to you so you can put it on. As soon as your done, he drags you outside.

"Now happy?" He says to Dolores. "Yeah, now get out of here" "Why do we need to leave actually?" You ask to Dolores. "Uhhhhhh" "Yes Dolores, tell us." Camilo says with a smirk on his face to Dolores "Abuela wants toooooo, clean up the Casita. The thing she uses to clean uhhhh your allergic for that thing."

Confused you look at her. "On my birthday?" "It's, your birthday?" "Are you- no sabías que es mi cumpleaños?" (You didn't knew that it was my birthday?) Dolores begins to freak out a bit, she can't take her secret very longer. She turns to her brother "Just be back around 6, bueno?" (Okay?) Camilo nods. Dolores walks fast away and Camilo drags you out of the Casita.

"They forgot my birthday?" You ask with tears in your eyes. Camilo didn't realize until he turned to you. "No, they didn't, believe me." He cups your face. "They didn't forget your birthday, Belleza" (beauty) Camilo sighs. "Mi cariño, you must be hungry, c'mon." (My sweetheart) you nod and he drags you to the bakery in town. Buying Croissant de almendra for himself and a empanada for you, Camilo manages to get a smile on your face again. Walking around town, just talking, having fun made you forget that it was your birthday and even that there were other people in this world. Just you two together.

As you are walking back to the Casita Camilo stops by some bushes. "Remember this?" "Of course i remember.." he walks behind the bushes, holding your hand.

"This is we're you asked me to be your girlfriend.." Camilo smiles softly "This place has good memories." "Yes it has, and it's still as beautiful as 2 years ago.." "I thought we we're talking about this place.." confused you look at him "I am Camilo.." "No your not, your talking about yourself, your still as pretty as 2 years ago.." he says with an little smirk. "Smooth Madrigal, smooth.." you say smiling at him.

He looks at his watch, "It's time to go back.." "That was a good present wasn't it?" You ask him exited as you walk back to the Casita. "It was an amazing gift."

As you enter Casita.

You two walk inside "Sorpresa!! (Surprise!!) To your surprise the whole family Madrigal surprised you with a birthday party.

"Feliz cumpleaños mi amor." (Happy birthday my love) Camilo says as he kisses you. "You knew this?" Camilo nods, and you sigh happily. Dolores walks up to you. "We didn't forget your birthday, i am sorry I'm not good with secrets." You hug her "it's okay Dolores."

Julieta made your favourite dinner and after that Antonio yells, "tiempo presente!" (Present time!) Everyone gives you a present but nothing was as good as Camilo's one. You were really happy with the pearl white dress with flowers in your favourite colour you got from Isabela.

"I tried to make it better as Camilo's present but it was really hard." Isabela says as she winks at Camilo.

"Okay everyone, let's get ready for the party tonight!" Abuela says as everyone gets up. You help Julieta with the dishes and then get upstairs to Mirabel's room with your new dress.

"You look absolutely beautiful Y/N" "Thank you Mirabel, you look amazing to"

Later, at the party your dancing, having fun with Mirabel, Isabela, Dolores and are dancing with Antonio. When the music stops you smile at Antonio "Your a very good dancer Antonio." "Thank you!" You turn around to get off the dancefloor when some guy suddenly stands there.

"Hey birthday girl, wanna dance with me?" Confused you look at him 'Didn't this idiot knew you had a boyfriend?' "No, thank you. I'm good" "C'mon girl, it's not everyday that you turn 16." "And how old are you then?" "17" "So 17 years you could've practiced with listening and you still can't hear i said no." "Haha, your funny. I like a girl with good humor. C'mon then we can-" he wants to grabs your wrist but someone blocks him. " Hey buddy, you didn't listen. She said no, and no is no." Dolores had come in "But-" "No 'buts', now get away from my little brothers girlfriend." "Yeah go away!" Antonio says as he grabs your wrist and pulls you away from the guy.

"Thank you Antonio.." "No problem!" He walks with you to Camilo who is staring bored at his drink. "Camilo, here you go." He lets you go and walks off leaving you with Camilo. "Hey.." "Hey, i saw you were having fun."

"People, now the song for the lovely birthday girl, and her boyfriend, my little brother. Here is Sin Miedo a Nada from Álex Ubago." You look at Dolores who winks at you and you turn back to Camilo. Who is standing in front of you now and holds out his hand.

"May i have this dance with you?"

You smile at him and take his hand.

Together you take over the dance floor, and both forget that other people are around.
