"It's perfect" Areum said as she finished playing the song her and Yoongi had been working on over the past few weeks "it's really perfect Yoongi" she beamed as she looked over to him in the music room at his house whilst he was reaching into his bar cabinet to pour himself a glass of whiskey "if you thought the last one could be sold for a million this one has got to be worth two million" she smiled staring back at the music sheets

Yoongi cracked a small smile "shall we have dinner to celebrate?" He asked causing Areum's breath to get caught in her throat but before she had time to read more into it the doorbell rang and Areum quickly sprung up

"I'll get it" she announced as she rushed out of the room

She pulled open the front door and saw someone she thought she would never see ever again.

It was Yoongi's mom.

Areum stared at her and his mom stared back at her. Both of them speechless. She knew. And Areum knew she knew. Unlike Yoongi, they both had their memory of what happened 10 years ago. And before either of them had a chance to croak out any words Yoongi called out "Areum who is it?" As he entered the hallway "oh mom" he smiled "I wasn't expecting you. Come on in. This is my student Areum, we were just finishing up a session and about to make dinner. Join us" Yoongi said happily walking towards the kitchen as his mother hesitantly entered.

As soon as Yoongi was out of earshot Mrs. Min grabbed Areum's wrist "What. The. Hell. Are you doing here?" She glared at her

"I-I am here for... my class..." Areum stuttered not knowing what to say

"You need to leave. Now!" She whispered shouted "I will not have you ruin my sons life for the second time!" She gripped Areum's wrist and started dragging her towards the door

"So you do remember me?" Areum said before tugging her arm away "how come Yoongi doesn't?"

Mrs. Min sighed in annoyance "Areum I am not going to ask you again. Leave, now! It has taken years for my son to get you out of his life, I will not have you come back and ruin everything again"

"Ruin everything?!? I didn't do anything except exist!" Areum whisper shouted

"Don't even try and act like-"

"What do you girls want to eat, I was thinking either chicken or-" Yoongi came back into the hallway and froze seeing his mother's hand wrapped around Areum's wrist "fish... what's going on?"

"Oh nothing" Mrs. Min chuckled "I was just saying how Areum needs to... eat more. Look how skinny her wrist is. We have to fatten her up" she said nervously

"Right" Yoongi nodded his head awkwardly "You going to come help me with dinner or...?"

"Yes, coming" Mrs min chimed and Yoongi headed back into the kitchen. Mrs. Min scowled at Areum as they both followed him.

Mrs. Min spent the rest of the evening staring daggers into areum, as Areum sat their nervously trying to act natural in front of Yoongi.

After dinner and a couple of glasses of wine Yoongi said he was going to go lie down for a while leaving Areum, Mrs. Min and the empty dishes sitting at the table.

Once Yoongi was gone Areum knew it was her only opportunity to get the answers she was looking for.

"So are you going to give me an explanation or what?" Areum said bluntly

Mrs. Min looked her up and down before clearing her throat "I will explain everything to you on one condition"

"And what would that be?"

"You will agree to never see my son ever again"
