LUKES POV:
I was going to meet up with my band, Calum and Michael, but as I was leaving the house I got a text from Ashton...he said that his flight came in early and he was gonna meet up with some friends, so I just said ok and that I would see him tonight.

Back to Michael and Calum, I met them when I was sitting alone at a table at lunch. Apparently they were new to the school and they thought I looked nice. I learned about their love for music and we began a band. Five Seconds Of Summer. We had a good group of fans, we had a few gigs as well.
No one from our school really knew about us. I don't think they would care either. We weren't exactly the popular kids, but whatever.
So I was gonna meet up with them and then later, introduce them to Ashton.

I got my stuff unpacked into my new room in Sydney Australia, and asked my mum if I could head to Calums.

I put my coat and scarf on and started walking to Calum's house. It was really chilly out, December was always cold. It was weird being an Australian. I am Australian I was born here I just moved for 2 years to America. There would always be the freaking huge spiders that everyone would be terrified of, the huge snakes and bugs, living here all my life, I was used to it, if I woke up late one night and found a spider as big as my face on the wall, I would shake it off and kill it. I'm not scared of much.

I rang the bell to Cal's house. Michael answered and opened the door. He had pizza in his hand so I already knew this practice would be all eating no music. I liked these boys a lot, but they had a tendency to forget why we're in the practice.
"Hey Luke! Guess what!" Calum shouted from the living room floor.

I put down my guitar and shrugged off my coat. "No need to shout, I'm right here, and what?!"

"We have a new member of the band. He's going to be our drummer."
Michael said sitting down on the floor next to Calum and reaching for another pizza slice.

I sat down on the ground by the boys and grabbed a pizza. There was a whole 4 boxes left. We all loved pizza so it would be no problem finishing them all off. "So what are some things we should let this new boy know?" I asked.
Calum finishes off the last pizza in the first box, puts it off to the side. He flicks his hair and leans back against the couch. "Well what else would he need to know?. We are all basically the same age, basically the most different about us all is that you like guys. That's not bad at all." He said.

I thought back to Ashton. Yeah I had a girlfriend who lasted a few months after him, but was i gay? Maybe I was bi. "Think back to Lauren, I like girls too." I fake pouted.

"Yeah, Lauren who you never even talked to." Michael laughed opening the box and grabbing some pizza.

"You have no idea what I did with her. Just because we never talked at school does now mean we didn't get it on after." I said thinking back.

We broke up after her ex had come back and saw us at prom, he gave me a drink that had a drug in it, and shortly after, he had me break up with her. That morning I wondered where she was. I texted her and she told me never to speak to her again. Yeah, you could say her and her ex got back together right after.

We talked a bit longer then Michael had to go home. I decided it was a good idea for me to go home as well. Michael and I walked side by side in the cold. When we got to the street where we were supposed to split up, it started snowing.

I decided to run home because I had remembered that my mum needed help with cooking dinner. We were having Ashtons family over for dinner.

I got to my house and walked in.

My mom came down the hallway.
"Oh hello Luke! Are you okay?"
She wrapped her around me and I returned the hug. I was always a mommas boy, I loved her hugs.

"I'm fine, just decided to run home."
I said and put my backpack on the hall tree.
"How was band practice?" She asked, clearly she wasn't going to leave me alone.

"It was good. Michael and Calum said theres going to be a new band member."
I wondered who the new member was, hopefully he was nice.

My mom nodded and walked back to the kitchen to continue cooking dinner and getting things organized. I took that opportunity to speed up the stairs. Once I got to my room I closed the door and threw my hat and scarf off. It was extremely warm in this house, I could never be comfortable. I flung myself onto my bed and groaned into my pillow.

I was so tired after having band practice so I just laid there thinking out loud.

I had remembered that I have to tell Ashton that me and his sister broke up...he never got the news, I guess his sister never told him...I guess it'll have to be me.
