"You have to understand Shravan you need to maintain your position. You cannot mix with them so freely you have to remember who you are, what our roots are."
"Yes, Papa."
"I have worked very hard to reach where I am today. I am not going to ruin it because of-"
"Ramu Kaka Ramu Kaka"
Whatever Ramnath wanted to say got interrupted with the frantic calling of the young son of Mr Verma.
"What is it, Master Pushkar?"
"The milk tastes weird."
"Little Master-"
"You taste it Ramu Kaka."
"Me? But I-"
Ramnath could hear the snickering around him as the household staff looked on curiously.
"Ramu Kaka do you want me to fall ill by drinking bad food?"
"No Little Master-"
"Then go on drink it, taste it yourself."
"I just had my breakfast-"
"Don't waste time Ramu Kaka!"
With a defeated sigh Ramnath took a sip. "The milk is perfectly fine."
"Then finish it."
"But"
"Quick!"
Pushkar gave a triumphant look to Ramnath as he emptied the glass.
"You are going to be my Partner for the Fancy dress competition this evening."
"I cannot be!" Ramnath shook his head in refusal.
"You have to Ramu Kaka, Or I will tell my parents you drank up my milk."
Shravan tried to hide his smile as his father looked at Pushkar in shock.
