Chapter 3

~Makenzie's POV~

I wake up and walk downstairs to the kitchen I see a note on the table.

It's from Tegan.

Dear The Boys,
I know we have been through a lot together and I want to thank you guys for teaching my how to fight and control my hunger for blood. But I'm leaving now and that's for good I can't be around you guys anymore.
Liam- You were my everything and I loved you then and I love you now and I will love you always I just need to be a normal 17 year old girl. I love you.
Louis-Oh Louis am I gonna miss you. I'm gonna miss the way you were always loud or how you hid me and Liam from the boys until we were ready for them to know about us. I'm going to miss you Louis.
Niall-Niall oh Niall am I gonna miss the way you eat you always have an room for something. I'm gonna miss how we always prank Liam and Harry. Good times I'm gonna miss you so much.
Harry-Lastly Harry I'm gonna miss you. Make sure you take good care of her okay. You were always the tough one. But I know you have a heart. I'm gonna miss you Harry.
You guys can't tell Makenzie that I'm leavening you can't. You guys know I'm leaving because Jackson won't stop until he gets her and I don't want to see that happen. If something happens to her then it's over. You know she is stronger than what she thinks Don't let her see this note.

By the end of the letter I feel the hot liquid running down my cheeks.

I grab my keys and put my shoes on and run towards the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" Louis ask.

"I gotta go." I say holding in my tears.

He steps in front of me.

"No your not going anywhere." He says.

"What's going on here?" Harry says walking into the living room.

"This one trying to leave." Louis says smiling.

"So let her go she's just another piece of spinach no one likes." Harry says looking at me.

I turn around and mumble "dick" before I ran to my car and start it and drive to the airport.

I get to the airport and see that Tegan is there.

Tegan is about to get on the plane.

"No Tegan stop!" I yell.

"Makenzie leave now." She says walking up to me.

"No you're not leaving me again." I say looking at her.

"I have too." She says.

"Remember that time when we were in 6th grade we made a box that we put the things that we would do when we turned 16. Mine was to travel the world with my best friend and to sing. I never thought that my best friend would be moving 4 states away and I wouldn't see her. It was hard for me." I say.

"It was hard for me too." Tegan says.

"Really hard for you please you didn't write me back. I stayed locked in my room for weeks I didn't eat for days I started to get bullied so please tell me it was hard for you." I say with tears in my eyes.

"Don't blame this all on me I only moved because my mom was screwing our neighbor!" Tegan yells.

"You know what leave anyways they might miss you being around but I'll give no damn if you go on that plane." I say with tears down my cheeks.

"What do you want me to do just stay and watch you get your head ripped off well no I don't want to so stop being a self centered
bitch!" She yells at me.
