comfort story 1: headache

               it has been a extremely long day at the daycare, and you just could not wait to just pack up and go home. your head was throbbing due to a massive headache after some kid was screaming at you for, who knows what, but you assume it was because you wouldnt let the kid play hide and seek behind your desk. 

you look at the clock, seeing it was about an hour before you are able to leave and go home, not realizing that your friend was right infront of you, looking eagerly at you before screaming loudly in excitement. " HI Y/N!!! the kids have been picked up!!- " the animatronic exclaimed loudly, making your headache worsen, as you covered your ears and scoffed a little in annoyance, before looking up at sundrop. " hello sunny, thats swell that the parents picked up their kids, were the kids any trouble for you? " you asked the mechanical male, as sundrop shook his head, and stared down at you, being 9'4 ft tall afterall. " thats good... " you said softly, giving a gentle smile to sundrop as you put your hand on your head. 

sundrop nodded excitedly, before realizing you were rubbing your head, as he tilted his head curiously, before speaking up. " hey y/n? are you ok? you have been...rubbing your head a lot today, are you feeling alright? " the bot questioned, making you look up in surprise, ' have i really?- huh...never noticed i was... ' you thought, before quickly responding. " yeah, yeah of course...i just- have a bit of a headache is all, sundrop...dont worry about it, alright? i'll be fine " you assured the animatronic, as sundrop tilted his head, then shook his head before looking at you. " hey! why didnt you tell me sooner huh y/n?! you couldve rested here you know! " sundrop said, making you sweat a little, but you laughed a little bit awkwardly and shrugged, " because i have a job to do, sundrop...i cant just leave my po- " thats when sundrop cut you off by grabbing you and slinging you over his shoulder without any hesitation, and then began to march off to the naptime area, " nonsense y/n! you deserve rest, ill get you some pillows and stuff so your comfortable- " sundrop responded, making his way to a area inside the daycare that had soft, squishy ground, perfect for sleeping on. you scoffed and growled, trying to get out of the friendly bots grip, straining as you responded to his words, " no!- sunny im fine i can live with a small- oof!- " you yelped as sundrop threw you down, not harshly but, you were just caught off guard as sundrop stared at you. 

you opened your mouth to speak, before immediately being shushed by sundrop, as he had a blanket and pillows on the ready, before responding. " no, y/n, its fine i insist you sleep here for the night...ok? " sundrop said, his voice beginning to soften up. you stared at the tall robotic male, tempted to just, tell him no again but you knew there was no use for it. you sighed in defeat, before nodding, and laying down, " fine...just this once though, ok? " you told the sun bot, as sunny nodded and quickly tucked you in, you sighed softly, and nuzzled up under the blanket. sundrop went on and grabbed a teddy bear, and gave it to you. you stared at the teddy bear, and then looked at sundrop, before giving a small smile and took it. you watched as sundrop rubbed your head, and turned and began to leave, but you immediately spoke up, " hey, sunny? " you said, as sunny froze and looked back, tilting his head at you curiously, before answering back, " yes, y/n? ". you looked at the teddy bear, then at him, before giving a small smile, " thank you...i...i appreciate it, really... " you told sundrop, as he stared at you, and gave a robotic chuckle, and then nodded to you. " of course, y/n...sleep well, ok? call me if you need anything " sundrop assured you, before walking out fully, and the lights dimmed to darkness. 

you laid back down, cuddling the teddy bear, as you closed your eyes and put your arm over your head, slowly dozing off to bed, feeling comfy and warm, like nothing could ever harm you again.
