Sundrop POV:
It was the late afternoon, and sundrop was in the painting area of the daycare with a few kids. He was watching as the kids painted and drew, complimenting the children and all that stuff, the reasoning there was so little kids nowadays was because of a sickness known as ' covid '. Sundrop heard about it from 2 parents that dropped their child off, but he didn't know much about it other then its, like a flu of some sorts.
Sundrop looked up at the desk at the front of the daycare, trying to see if Y/N came in yet, afterall they were usually here by now, but...they werent at the desk yet. Sundrop frowned a bit, couldnt helping but feel concerned for y/n, ' I hope their ok... ' sundrop thought before being interrupted by a man walking over. Sundrop looked up at the man, and tilted his head curiously, before getting up. " hello sir! What's going o?- "
" I need to talk to you for a moment. " the man said, interrupting sundrop, making sundrop shut his mouth. The robot hesitated for a moment, before tilting his head, a artificial feeling of anxiety rising in his chest. " about...what? Is, everything ok? Did moondrop do something wrong?... " sun asked outloud to the Male, before the man shook his head, and looked at sundrop straight in the eyes, before replying. " no, it's about Y/N, they've came down with a case of covid so, they wont be at work for a long while...you'll be working with nico from now until Y/N is fully healed from their sickness. " the man said, making sunny freeze, before whimpering a bit, " oh no...are they ok? Will I be able to see them anytime soon?- oh jeez!- " the robot exclaimed, couldnt helping but feeling a bit distressed about the fact their friend was ill!.
The man stared, before shrugging, " I dont exactly know yet, one can only hope that they'll be able to recover, sunny. " the man cooed before walking off. Sunny stared as the man turned and left, frowning and then looked down. After a few more hours, the kids were picked up from the daycare, leaving sunny alone by himself other then nico which, he wasnt found of the gruff man very much. Sundrop just went up to his room, using the hook on his back to attach a string that was connected to a string that allowed him to move freely in the air, in which he used as a way to get into his room. Sundrop unhooked the string from the hook on his back, and walked down the stairs to the clean middle with dolls and janitor bots cluttered into the corners, as he sat down.
Sundrop went on and started to rummage through the space, as soon enough he found a phone that had been charging. Sundrop turned it on, and went to the contacts, as one of the contacts was named " BFF FOREVER!!! " , in which he clicked on it and began to type.

Y/N POV:
You were sleeping soundly in bed, sniffling and shuffling here and there as, you felt sickly uncomfortable. You were soon awoken by a soft buzz coming from the night stand at the sight of your bed, making you look up from your pillow and hum a bit. You sat up and turned your phone on, seeing a text from a user called " Sunshine ", the users name immediately giving away who it was.
Sunshine:
I heard you were sick
My ray of sunshine!!!
Are you alright? Are you drinking
Enough water? I hope you feel
Better soon!!!
You couldnt help but smile a bit, feeling relieved it was actually sundrop. You started to text on your phone, replying to the concerned bots messages, as you gave a soft yawn, your phone being the only light in the entire room as the sun has already set.
You:
Oh yes yes sun!
I'm mighty alright, just
A little ill is all. Dont
Worry to much about
It sunny!!!
Sunshine:
I hope you will!
I was told you got
Covid and I got
Concerned Y/N...
You:

Sundrop, I'll be back

You hummed softly as you waited, having to wait a bit before your phone began to ring for a facetime, in which you picked up. You set your phone on a phone stand on your night stand that was facing your bed, as you stared at the screen, staring as sunny struggled to set up the camera correctly. You couldnt help but give a hoarse snicker as sunny struggled, " hold on...aaaand there we go!- " the robot chirped, finally getting the camera in the correct position, before stepping back and sitting on the floor, waving excitedly at you from the other side. You smiled tiredly, and waved back, " I'm so happy to see you, sunny... " you spoke to him, as he gave a friendly smile, and clapped his hands, " me too me too!!! I hope you drank water today Y/N... " he said, staring up at the camera, as he tilted his head.
You nodded, and laughed a small bit, causing you to cough a teeny bit. " yes sunny, I drank water today...- ", " did you eat too? " the sunbot questioned, as you nodded in response, and sighed a teeny bit. " i hope everything was well in the daycare and i hope my temporary replacement isnt a hassle for you, sunny... " you told the robot, relaxing as he shook his head energetically, " no no hes no hassle at all!!! He's just...different from what I'm used to Is all, not to worry Y/N! " sunny said cheerfully, making you sigh in relief. You looked up as you watched sunny immediately perking up, putting a finger in the air, before scattering off the camera, " hold on hold on y/n I have made you something!!!- " he called out off camera. You raised your eyebrow as all you heard was clashing and things falling from the other side, before hearing sunny yelp like he hurt himself. " Sundrop are you alright?- please be careful " you said concerningly, as all you see is a thumbs up from the bot on the left of the screen, as the friendly robot re-enters the camera, holding a piece of paper. " iiii made this with this kids today, and since I have no way on getting it to you, I'll just show it to you on here!!! " he said, flipping the paper to you. It was a drawing of you and sunny holding hands, with the words ' feel better soon!!! ' scribbled on it, as sunny giggled nervously as he spoke, " iiii hope you like it y/n!- ". You couldnt help but smile at his thoughtful the robot was, as you softly spoke, " awww sunny, I love it...that's so sweet of you... " you complimented him, making him start bouncing up and down childlike. You couldnt help but snicker and laugh a bit, but you immediately started going into a coughing fit, heaving a small bit as you huffed. Sundrop stopped hopping up and down, and quickly ran over to the camera, and grabbed the phone, " oh no y/n are you ok!? Drink some water drink some water!- " he said frantically, causing you to wave your hand at the phone, trying to signal to him that your fine. Sundrop frowned, but nodded, as he placed the phone back down, fixing the camera a bit, before backing away. " you should really rest, y/n...you cant fully heal without sleep! Dont make me bring moon out!!! " he said, crossing his arms as he stared. You sighed and smiled, before nodding in agreement, " alright alright I'll go to bed...- ill see you soon, sunny...love you buddy... " you replied. Sunny grinned and waved at the camera, " goodnight y/n!! Please get well my best friend!!! I love you to!!! Sleep well!!!- now how do i... - " sundrop said, scattering to the phone, and trying to figure out how to exit the call. You smiled as you hummed, " red button sunny...red button... " you said, making him perk and laugh softly, before nodding. " thank you, y/n! You have a goodnight! Drink lots of water! " sundrop exclaimed, before leaving the call.
You smiled, and placed your phone down, face side down onto the nightstand. You nuzzled your face into the pillow, humming softly as you relaxed, feeling relieved and actually comfortable as you slowly, but surely, fell asleep.
