Chapter 12: Learning about blood lust

"Lets go."

"I told you, I'm. Not. Going. Hyung." Taehyung growled.

"Taehyung get out now, I do not want you in here so get out." Hayeon shouted out.

"I guess I should go... Since this doesn't need me." Talia said awkwardly before walking out.

"Same." Jungkook chimed and left the room.

"We should go." Jimin said before whispering to Namjoon, Hoseok, and Yoongi.

"I'm not going." Taehyung mumbled.

"Why, Taehyung, why?!" Hayeon shouted.

"You wanna know why Hayeon?" Jin chimed in.

"Of course, I didn't want to be in this state so tell me so I can get this douchebag out of my life." Hayeon answered rolling her eyes.

"I'm surprised you still have the strength to roll your eyes." Taehyung said.

"Shut up, you ugly jerk." 

"You two shut up," Jin said. "Taehyung bit you because of something called 'blood lust', we as vampires get blood lust not that often but when we get it, or if we do get it it's based on how sweet your blood is and your blood is quite sweet." 

"T-Then why did his eyes flash green?" Hayeon questioned.

"That's the color vampires have when they feel the lust of human blood." Jin explained.

"Taehyung out, I wanna talk to Jin about something without your presence." Hayeon looked over to Taehyung who's comfortably sitting in the sofa chair.

"So why can't I hear what you have to say, hm?" Taehyung smirked. "You know I'll be able to still hear, right?"

"H-he can?" Hayeon looked over to Jin.

Jin nodded, "Mhm but don't worry about that I know how not to make him hear a single word, right Taehyung?"

"D-Don't do it hyung, please." Taehyung pleaded. "The door is over there Tae, out." Jin pointed over to the door.

An hour later......

Hayeon's POV 

 After about an hour later, Jin finished explaining to me which felt like a whole history lesson. "You get it now?" He asked me. The only thing I got was that it's sometimes dangerous for humans. I thought and surprisingly he heard, "You got to be joking, after 1-hour long hour that's all you got?! Aish I give up." Jin raised his hands in defeat. "What, that's a lot to take in, it felt like a whole history lesson." I whined.  "It's okay as time goes by you'll learn." Jin sighed.

"Mm." I hummed knowing that I would have to spend all my life with that annoying jerk Taehyung.

Present Day- Hyerin's POV

"Hyerin what you doing?" Minhee asked out of curiosity.

"Oh hi Minhee, you didn't tell me you were coming over."

"It just came to me to come to visit you- Oh, what's that?" She pointed to the diary I was reading, "Got a crush, I see." She continued speaking then smirked. 

"No." Hyerin rolled her eyes before continuing speaking, "It's this case that Chaeryoung came and reported at the police station and we found this book--" Hyerin was cut off my Minhee opening the fridge door."Yah! We're you even listening?" Hyerin looked at her friend annoyed, "To be honest, no because whatever you talk about has to be about a police investigation, sooooo, what you going today?" Minhee answered Hyerin still looking inside the fridge for food. " I wasn't gonna cook anything, I was gonna order takeout, by the way, where's you're boyfriend?" Hyerin asked.

"Oh, him? We're taking a break from each other." Minhee looked around from the fridge to her best friend who's sitting on the couch. "What?! What happen?" Hyerin asked in a shocked voice.

"Let's just say we had some arguments over him cheating with a girl name Kang Ariana." She said before plumping down beside. She examined the book in front of me "Vampire Diary?"

"Yeah, that was what I was telling you about earlier but you turned a blind eye to me." I playfully rolled my eyes. "Well if so I'm sorry but what is it about?" She asked. "Babygirl, I don't think you'd wanna know" I answered knowing how she's literally afraid of supernatural creatures.

"Omg, you call me ba- Hold up, when you call me babygirl there's something suspicious going on. So tell me what it is." She looked at me holding a suspicious gaze. Well I guess I can continue to tell you what I was saying earlier.

"So as I was saying earlier, Chaeryoung came and reported about a book well a vampire book to be precise." I explained.

"Vampires do not exist Rin, that was just a book written by a child." She laughed not believing the story I told her.

"They do exist Hee-hee. It was proven in this book." I protested and pointed to the book which was on the center table in front of me.

"Well then. Prove it to me." She looked at me with a I don't believe one thing your saying look.

I opened the book and turned to the page I was on which was titled 'Learning about blood lust'

It's been about one month since I'm kinda staying at the guy's house and it has been awkward as always, I've mostly talked to Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok and Jimin I'm not even adding Taehyung cause I practically have to talk to him everyday. Just the day before yesterday, Jin told me about the blood lust after Taehyung attacked me and to be honest, the only thing I've digested properly is that it doesn't normally happen and I don't remember the other thing I digested but anyways, I founded out that Jin can read minds, I assume they all can which kinda creeps the hell outta me. I went home yesterday to fetch some things after lying again to my mom and before I left I researched about the blood lust thing. When I researched the first thing that came up was 'Be careful. Vampire blood lust is very dangerous especially for an human. Blood lust is simply when vampires lust for blood because their either hungry or it's the full moon. If you come in contact with a vampire on the full moon it's a greater percentage that they'll kill because they have no control on full moons.' I am more afraid that I could ever be because Taehyung and I are on very bad terms and I could be easily killed and my mom and bestie would go crazy. I texted Talia to not come at my house for a few days since I'd be going to school with the boys since Namjoon said "it was for my protection." Protection from who? Taehyung? His green eyes scared the heck outta me but anyways thats the least of my problems rn because we have a spring dance coming up and tests so my ass gotta go study.

I closed the book and looked over to my friend who looked like she was trying to take in all the information she just read. "You finally understand?"

"It still sounds sooo unbelievable. I don't believe in these stuff but it seems so real at the same time."

"Told ya" I answered and rested my head on the sofa's headrest.

"Anyways back to my story." Minhee slightly pouted, "What do you think I should do?"

"I don't know.. Get back to together with him?" I shrugged.

"I know what I'm gonna do make him fire that hoe who's tryna take my man."

"Mhm."
