I was probably about 7 when the scientist came, probably older. I still remember that night, me and my sibling, Jakie, were playing in our rooms when we heard the door open, we didn't pay any attention to it. It could be the police for all we know, it's not like we would be surprised if it was. I mean, our parents aren't, what's the word "good" people, I mean like they have been killing since they were like 20, only story we can ask questions on without getting yelled at. Me and Jakie were always on one end of the stick when he was happy I was sad, when one wanted to leave the other said it wasn't worth it. It's been like this since dad became an alcoholic, we were a nice family they would always make sure we were safe and had food to eat that we didn't have to make. Me and Jakie always were the priority but things got bad. My parents were robbing a bank like every Friday with dad's best friend, but when they got caught one of the policeman fired right in the head of his friend he died right beside him dad looked down tears coming out from his eyes but he grabbed mom and fled so no one else got shot. Once they got home there was no hi or I'm home, dad just dropped mom off and left. When he came home he was drunk and I said "hey dad, you're home me and-" "SHUT UP, I'm going to bed" it was the first time ever dad had yelled shut up, when he got home. That day forward it was the same thing, every day he would do his thing, get drunk, and come home and yell and scream sometimes a glass bottle was thrown, or he and mom would go out and both come home and yell and scream soon me and Jakie just stayed in our room one day I came home and I heard my brother saying "I'm going to run away I can't live here anymore" I was sobbing so I went to the tree outside and sat their he came out here and hugged me since I was crying we talked and I asked him why he would leave me and run away, he looked surprised that I knew from that day forward I tried to make his days better taking hits, and blame, soon I wanted to leave, and so I told him and he said it's not worth the risk of getting caught, and this became a continuous circle I would help him he would help me no one wins usually one of us thinks it's too risky and the other just wants to leave. Anyway dad and mom yelled JESSIE, JAKIE come here. Me and Jakie came right away, right there where two scientist looking people we looked at eachother thinking the exact same thing, why where our parents calm and than without another word they grabbed us and went to two different trucks I tried to yell but my mouth was covered all I could do was cry for the first time in my life I ways being separated from my brother. I started getting settled in when a girl was pushed into my room? If you can even call it that, all I have is a bed and a laptop to research for school. I went to the corner and sat there. I hadn't socialized in 3 months I couldn't. I was too miserable to talk, also I was with the scientists and no one else and talking to people who don't like you, or want to just experiment on you, yea I'll pass. "Hello" the girl asked "uh H-Hi?" I said back. "I have heard you haven't spoken a full clear sentence in months and said you wouldn't socialize but I had to try" she said rambling "O-ok, umm I'm Jessie" I say I hadn't said that in years. "Oh cool, I'm Mikala," Mikala said. We weren't allowed to communicate with other people because if we had enough people we could escape as we stayed there longer we started getting experimented on and Mikala got cool see through violet wings and I got a scaled tail. After about 5 months of getting the tail they tried something new, you know animatronics, well basically the scientist made me half robot which means early on I would shut down a lot and malfunction, and a scientist had to come and help me. It got better but it would still happen sometimes so one night, Mikala did something I could never forget even if you reset my memory box. She stayed up all night for a week studying robots so when I was shut down she could fix it. Finally she figured it out so that's what happened everytime I shut down or was glitching she would fix it. We were there for 3 years we knew everything, how we were experiments for war weapons like making a human as fast as a cheetah or a human as strong as a bear or me who was a prototype to make people be able to shoot lasers from their eyes or something like that, I had enough we couldn't save anyone else because we couldn't talk to them so we escaped we are now live together in a broken down house still looking for my brother, and hiding from the police.
