Another day and another life. As Henry woke up at 10 am with signs of having eaten ramen and played games. After having woken up so suddenly he glanced to the side and picked up his phone. No messages and no notifications. A normal sight. As he got ready for his day, he debated on whether or not he should have coffee. With no money in his bank account he decided he would. Eventually it was time for him to go to work. He was a part time bookseller in a conservative town. While many may think the job would be nice, any job dealing with customer service is not as nice. As he continued with the perils of his unattractive job on a boring Wednesday night, someone with a tannish brown headscarf and glasses walked in. She wasn't hard to miss as she was easily the elephant in the room among all the white people. However after giving a side glance, he continued with his shelving. Nothing to think about there besides the fact there was something so mesmerizing and magnetic about her. Almost like he needed to talk to her and see her. Despite paying no heed or attention she suddenly came up to him and asked if he could grab a book for her from the top of the shelf. Henry said of course and before he could use his height to grab the book for her, the lights went out.
Author's note lol: Hey guys lol this is my first fanfic ever so I apologize how awful it is and this may or may not have been based on personal experiences. Anyways hope you enjoyed it! :)
