Chapter 4: She's Not A Science Experiment

Morning came by so fast, she woke up starving as she remembered she didn't have dinner last night. She got off her bed and when she took her first step to her bathroom, she felt a sharp pain below her. 'Fuck'

She left her house without having breakfast coz she was too nervous on how to face him today. As she was driving to his place, he was no longer in front of their house but a few houses away. He was already walking to the main gate. She pulled over to him and he stopped to look at the car beside him

She rolled the window down to ask him why he was walking but he talked first. "I'm taking the bus today. I won't be riding with you home today as well. And I don't think we'll continue our project today but I'll let you know, Gwen. Have a good day ahead." He gave her a small smile as he started walking away.

She wanted to stop him but she knows better. Men who had taken what they want would just stop right then and there. She drove off, not wanting to cry again. 'My goal now is to focus on this project. We need to finish this soon.'

Her first subject was done for this morning. She walked to her locker to get herself ready for the next subject.

"You walk funny." Someone said from behind. It was her ex-bestfriend laughing at her own comment.

"I dont have time for this, Bea." She responded, walking away from her. But Bea followed her since they'll be having the same class.

"Wait, am I guessing this right? You've finally lost your virginity?!" Bea grabbed her by the shoulder.

"Lower your voice, Bea. And what is it to you? Just leave me alone." She shook Bea's hand off her shoulder and continued to walk away.

"Okay, I'm sorry. But damn, good for you girl." Bea continued to laugh. As they were walking to class, Bea wouldn't shut up. Talking about different things. About her life, Steve and all sorts of annoying things.

Gwen endured how talkative Bea was until they reached their classroom. She went directly on her seat and placed her head in her arms on her table. She was tired from crying last night.

"Everyone I have an announcement!" Bea said standing by the podium.

"Oh no." She said to herself, hiding herself deeper in her arms. The girl beside her noticed what Gwen said and did.

"Gwen Porter finally got laid!" Everyone in class howled in cheer. "But that's not the best part." Gwen groaned expecting the worst. "She didn't lose her virginity to one of the handsome students in our campus, she lost it to our nerd! No other than Felix Griffith!" Everyone laughed at what Bea said except for the girl beside her and Jackson at the back.

"Is- Is that true, Gwen?" The girl beside her asked but Gwen didn't answer. Instead she got up and went out of the classroom.

"Dude, where are you going?" Kyle asked as Jackson got up about to follow Gwen.

"Gwen." Was all he said and he ran straight out of the room trying to catch up to her. If what Bea said was true then Felix really did take her virginity and he knows Felix would never take anyone's virginity. That's Felix's goal or he'll trap himself for life.

Gwen ran to the rooftop. She thought she could hide there til lunch break and just go home by then. She sat behind the doorway so that if anyone come up she wouldn't be seen.

"Now everyone knows what happened. I shouldn't have stormed out like that it's like I'm telling them it's true." She said to herself with her head against her knees.
