Back to Kris...

Krislees POV

There are only 19 of us.

"We need to split up to get disguises and go on the train. It's a little suspicious to have a group of 19." Rosslii said, standing in front of the group. "Chose one person to group with. Don't be school children about it." I roll my eyes, school children? What? I look around. I feel someone tap my shoulder and turn to face them.

It was Valerie, the person closest to my age, 15 years old. "Do you want to be with me?" They ask. I smile slightly.

"Sure Val." We stand next to each other, waiting for everyone else to group up.

"Okay. I'll give you a while. 4 hours to find a disguise, and do whatever the hell you want." Ross spoke. "But by the mark of 13:35, you best have gotten a ticket and be on the train, or else we're just leaving you." Everyone nods, including me and Val. We all walk in different directions.

"Where to first Val?"

They responded quickly. "Coffee." I laugh a bit.

"Okay then?" We walk around, talking a little and glancing at the shops. We watched some people pass us, they looked at us with disgust. I honestly don't know what we did to deserve that but it doesn't matter. We get coffee then sit at a table.

"Okay, okay. Kris, what's your favorite color?"

"Uhm... I have a lot. I like rose gold, I like silver, and I like mint green. How about you?"

"I didn't think of you as someone that liked bright colors." They laughed and i raised an eyebrow before laughing too. "I like purple and a light yellow." I scrunch up my nose in fake disgust.

"Bleh. Those look terrible together, val."

Valerie gasped, putting a hand over her heart, pretending to be hurt. "KRIS! NO! How dare you?" They both laughed.

"OH, OH! Val, what if we based our outfits on our colors? I mean, you'd look terrible, so maybe just chose one of them... but we still need outfits." Valerie smiled.

"Let's go." We had finished our coffee. This is the best moment I've had since... ever. But specifically since 4 months ago, when we left. I know, time skip. We look around shops for clothing, eventually we find outfits that we like. We change into them, then check the time. We had already bought our train tickets. But it's 13:02. We both decide to leave to the train. Once we get on, we sit at the chairs on the food car. We were just talking until I see someone out of the corner of my eye, I look over and my smile fades. I make eye contact with Theodore. I stand up quickly and walk over, ignoring Valeries questions.

I lift my hand and punch Lucas in the nose.

"KRISSI! What was that for!?!?" Theo asks. I grab a knife from my sleeve and shove the girl next to them against the wall, holding a knife to her throat.

Lucas is holding his nose with his hands. He groaned. "I probably deserved that, to be fair, Krislee."

"I know you did, dumbass." Theo holds a hand out as if to tell Kris to stop. He looks at her with wide eyes. "Who the fuck is she?" I ask.

"Phoebe Greene. Me and Lucas's friend."

"Now, Theo. I have nothing against you, but I do have something against Lucas."

"Why?"

"He promised he would just find a way out of Kingsley's grasp, then come back for the rest of us. That was 3 years ago."

"You're... you're a Skryt?"

"Yes. Piper, Bergan, and my parents were murdered years ago."

"Krissi. Where's the Suniporian?" I closed my eyes tightly for a few seconds then blinked. I shook my head slowly.
