I'm amazed you made it this far in this shit of a story, but thanks!

Walking upstairs after dinner, I hid in my room, under a thick heated blanket, sitting with my legs crossed under it, playing on my Queb-Unit (Holograph laptop). I checked the time, 3 hours until the Skryt meeting. I smirked, they're gonna be pissed! Hilarious arguments on payment. Honestly, I could move wherever I wanted, 2 million Par is equal to having 700,000£. But things are closer in the neighborhood I'm in, The Skyt, The Shadow Rink, free homemade dinner, etc. I get to hide in a corner for a few shitty hours, it's fantastic!

Note the sarcasm.

I turned on an audiobook of the new book, "My second half". Yes, it's a drama. Yes, I'm addicted. And yes, I love it with all my heart. Do I seem like a drama book lover? Probably not, but they're so cute. Now I'm just off topic, okay. Rossalie, oh she will be most protective over us. Mom of the group? Hmm, kinda odd saying that she's the mom of the group of assassins. I realized that I zoned out rather than listen to my book and I skipped back 5 minutes. I listened to it for the rest of the time, closing my eyes and lying on the bed with Ahviana curled up next to me.

I opened one eye and looked at the time, one hour left, including the 30 minutes it took to get there. I stood up and Ahviana opened her eyes, they were following my movements as I changed into black leggings and a maroon sweater. I snuck out the window with Ahviana in my arms, jogging till I was a block over and called a Queb-Tram. It took those thirty minutes and then I stepped out still holding Ahviana like she was gold.

I entered the code into a hidden keypad. The door opened and I immediately saw the other Skryts fighting over something. I walked over to a corner covered in shadows and leaned against the wall, folding my arms. Like I mentioned, HILARIOUS.

"We have to go for answers Rossalie!"

"No Elijah! No. We will not risk our lives for a hunch. What the hell is wrong with your head?! Oh! Maybe the fact that you have 2 fucking brain cells!"

Elijah threw up his hands in defeat. "I give up Ross." His face brightened and he gestured around the room. "Where's Krislee?" The other Skryts looked around the room, and still didn't notice me. I sighed and stepped out from my corner, unfolding my arms, I glared at them both. "I was perfectly happy in my corner watching you squabble like vultures over a dead rat. Thank you very much. This better be good."

Barkly looked over from where he was standing and looked at me with disdain. "Your opinion doesn't matter to most of us."

I looked at him with a fake expression of holding back tears and fanned my face, making my eyes water, almost crying, I had been told it looked so realistic, it was kind of creepy, that's exactly why I did it. "No shit sherlock!" I stopped and raised my eyebrows, covering a laugh. Elijah and Rossalie suddenly looked like they were holding back laughs. They covered their mouths.

"Okay, that's scary." Lincon commented on how quickly my face changed, and how realistic my expression was. Then Ross put her hand down and cleared her throat.

"What did you want with her Elijah?"

"Oh. Yeah! Krislee, why are you here? I mean- Yeah."

I looked at him disbelieving, was he this dumb? "Really?"

"Yes. I want her to hear."

"So strait forward. Because I'm young and not noticeable. I have no family to be threatened with and I don't care about anyone, nor does anyone care about me. I'm a good actor? Oh yeah! And the fact that my family was murdered so Kingsly kidnapped me and made me a slave in a group of assassins called the Skryt. Or you guys."

He looked like this solved all his problems. "Exactly! Your life is more depressing than "Your Lie in April"! (I love references, just finished that show, amazing btw!)

"Uh. Thanks?" At this point, I'm completely lost.

"Eli, you're just making the girl confused. What do you mean by this?" Rossalie said, apparently giving up on him.

"Don't you see it? She's pathetic!"

"Ouch." I said, without showing much emotion, not really meaning it, he's right.

Ross looked at him like he just killed her cat. "Your such an ass Eli." I may or may not have smirked. Not because she wasn't completely right, but I love Ross's comments.
