After leaving Blaine's classroom, I made my way down the hall to find Vicky leaning against the wall. She held a book in her hands as she looked up at me. I ran to her, embracing her and kissing her as we met. We both seemed very ecstatic after our meditation period.

"How did it go, sweetie?" Vicky asked me, a smile on her face and her voice as smooth as butter.

"It went great!" I exclaimed, my voice enthusiastic and happy. "I learned that the original fire elementals were the dragons and I had a vision of how they got their abilities. I also feel as though se of my energy was restored through it as well."

"That's great! We learned from the first water elemental. Her name is Alice and she explained how she got the ability to control water. She explained that her home was flooded and her children were about to die. All she could do was look up to the moon and pray that her children would survive. Upon praying, she found that she was engulfed in the flood. However, a bubble formed around her head so she could breathe. As she looked at the moon, she could feel the push and the pull of it's gravity, just like waves. She said it came naturally to her. She was able to control the water and get her children to safety. She also explained that as time went on, she found that it was her new mission to train the new age of elementals so we could save the ones we love."

"Damn, babe," I said. "The dragon's got the ability of fire for a similar purpose. They all met the God of the Dragons and seeked the ability of fire so they could-"

Before I could finish, Vicky and I heard and blood curdling scream from down the hall. We went running as fast as we could. My heart was beating a million miles an hour as we ran. As we came around the corner, we found a girl kneeling next to what seemed to be her friend.

"Hey, what happened?" I asked, running towards and and kneeling on the other side of her friend.

As I looked down, I found that the girl laying down was in a pool of blood. Blood had poured from her eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. However, there were no signs of injury. The girl on the floor was obviously dead, but there was no sign of how she died.

As I tried to piece it together, the girl kneeling next to her responded to my question. "Well we were walking towards the hallway you came running from and she started levitating. She began shaking violently in the air until the blood started pouring out of her head. And the scariest part was that she seemed like she was being controlled. She looked like a puppet, just without strings. Then she collapsed to the floor and that's when I screamed."

Hm, I thought to myself as she explained the situation. I can't rule out anything yet. My best option is to report this to Voren immediately. I just hope by the time I reach him, it's not too late. As I finished thinking, I found myself sprinting towards the headmaster's office. Sweat poured down my body. Before I knew it I had ran right into his office.

"Headmaster!" I exclaimed, my breath short. "It's an emergency! Come quick!"

Voren stood up from his desk immediately and came running back with me. As we approached the girl's body, Voren turned pale. All color left his face as the light left his eyes. He stood there, stunned at the sight in front of him. After a few moments he turned to Vicky, the other girl, and myself.

"Rick," Voren said, his voice quirt yet stern. "Take Vicky and her back to Blaine's classroom. There's a new threat in the school and we all need to be as careful as possible."

I nodded and took the girls to Blaine's classroom. As we walked through the door, we found Blaine sitting at his desk, meditating himself. Once we were through the door, I shut it behind me as quickly as possible.

"Rick, you're back sooner than I anticipated," Blaine said, his voice happy and calm.

"Unfortunately, not under the circumstances I would prefer, sir," I replied, holding Vicky's hand. "Upon leaving your class, we found a student who appears to have been mysteriously murdered within the school."

Blaine flew over to me and landed on the desk closest to me. "What happened?"

"Well sir, we heard a scream after leaving our meditation session and we found this girl," I said, pointing to the girl who had just lost her friend. "We heard a blood curdling scream and rushed to the scene. The Headmaster is over there presently handling the matter but he told us to come here to stay safe."

Blaine nodded as he understood the situation. He paused and then spoke to the other girl, who at that point was crying her eyes out as she sat at a nearby desk. "What's your name dear?"

"My name is Jessica," she said, her voice broken as tears flowed down her cheeks.

"It's nice to meet you, Jessica," Blaine replied. "So what exactly happened to your friend?"

As she explained, I held Vicky close to me. As anger built up inside of me, the candle flame on Blaine's desk began to fluctuate. As I inhaled and exhaled, the flame adjusted accordingly. Suddenly, the room went silent. I looked over to see Blaine staring out the window.

"Hm." He said, his golden eyes beaming out the window. "Rick, Vicky, and Jessica, come with me."

"Where to, sir?" I asked.

"We're off to see Alice," he replied. "If my hunch is right, it would seem as though our muderer is a water elemental. If it is true that she seemed possessed and blood began pouring out of her without any wounds, it's likely that our victim was targeted by a water elemental who happened to learn how to control blood."

"Control blood?" Vicky asked, walking towards Blaine.

"Yes." He responded, closing his eyes with fear. "Blood. It's not a form of water technique taught at this school. It is a very dark use of elemental power. And as such, it is important that you learn it as well."

Vicky's jaw dropped. "Why would you want another student to know how to do that?"

"Because if you learn how to control blood, you'll be better off defending your friends and yourself against this new threat."

As Blaine finished talking, we made our way out of the classroom and over to Alice's classroom.
