•Episode 3•

*Big Time skip (like 2 and a half month later)*

Emilia got used to the town easily and soon fell in love with it.
She helped out wherever she could like the Madrigals, while keeping an eye on her sister who was becoming more and more adventurous with her friends from the town.
People loved her and soon she got the "Sunshine" nickname from the town since she smiled a lot.

It was another busy day. She was helping the kids and her sister paint vases when one of the abuelita asked for her help.

-Oh Sunshine! Could you come over here for a second?

-Si abuelita! What can I help with?-she stepped into the house where abuelita was preparing some dought.

-I'm making a bit too many cookiesfor me to handle alone so I need hand.

Abuelita showed her how to make the cookies and she quickly got into it. The kids started watching what they were doing after they finished the vases (and since they found everything what Emilia did fun) they joined too. She was correcting their mistakes when they messed up but she felt as if she was being looked at. So she looked up and out of the window, where she saw many bystanders (guys in her age) staring at her.

Well yeah. Lately the guys started to notice her. Luckily she hadn't been asked out yet, so she didn't bother herself with them. She was too busy anyways, to think about guys. Plus, there was only one guy who she felt comfortable around.

-So Sunshine.-abuelita addressed her, which made Emilia snap out of what she was thinking and saw that the kids had already disappeared from sight.- I see that you are wonderful women and I'm amazed how good you can treat children. You must be married soon and start a familia!

Emilia almost choked on air.

-Oh he he... No, Don't be silly abuelita!-she chuckled panicky.

-Why not? You would make a great wife.

-Who? Me? Nooo no!

-Well yes, I think you would. So anyways, you know my dear nieto. He is a bit older than you but you are definitely older in mind anyways. I and he think that you guys would be such a perfect couple! Why don't-

-Well Hola Abuelita, Hermosa!-Camilo suddenly appeared next to Emilia, his hand placed behind her gently touching the counter, the other on his hip.-Lo siento, if I disturbed something, but Dolores really need the Sunshine's help. Hmm you know girly stuff- he laughed awkwardly.

Emilia could easily tell that he was lying but he felt at ease knowing that he is next to her.
She looked at her left, where she felt Camilo's hand slinding forward so his arm started touching her back. The boy probably hadn't knew, but such a small touch like that always let her know that he was there for her. It made the girl feel extremely safe, but at the same time, made her heart beat a bit faster and embarrassingly louder, than it should.

-Such a confusing mess of feelings!-she thought as she softly massaged the side of her warm face.

She hadn't heard what the abuelita said, and only noticed that she finally escaped outside.

-Thank you for saving me.-she whispered to Camilo.

-Me? Saving you? From what?-he said teasingly, like the Dolores thing wasn't all a lie. Emilia bumped into him playfully rolling her eyes, which they laughed at.-Alright, alright! Yeah you are right, as always.-he rolled his eyes.

-I know.-she showed him a mischievous grin, which Camilo found really attractive whenever she was like that, so he quickly transformed into her and mimicked the same sentence with the grin (also to hide his slightly red cheeks).-Come oon.-she laughed touching his arm, which was his favorite thing and the other reason why he mimicked her from time to time.
Sometimes she tries to fight back or mimics him which he finds truly adorable.

-Anyways~ Where is your sister?-He asked looking around since he knew how protective she was and he didn't think badly of her because of it. Her sister have gotten hurt or sick at least ten times a month. She wasn't a daredevil kid, she just had a bad luck.

-Oh my! You are right! Also I promised to help out many people today and I still have some chores to do at home. Ah jeez. I need to find her quickly.-She said with a bit of a panic in her voice. Camilo loved her big heart but she needed to relax more.-Dolores!-She shouted looking for her since she learnt that the easiest way to find Callie was to ask Dolores, since she hears anything. She spotted her in the crowd and started going towards her leaving Camilo, but he quickly grabbed her hand.

-Wait!

-Hm? What is it?-she looked back.

-Antonio wanted Callie to come over, so could you guys come over later today?-he smiled slowly letting her hand go.

-Yes of course!-she smiled brightly.-If I find her of course.-she rolled her eyes playfully and ran off.
