Alyssa's POV

I woke up with familiar people surrounding me. Oh God.

"Hey Chief." Tawag saakin ni Kristina habang chinicheck ako. "Nice try, tho." Bulong niya saakin. I just rolled her eyes on her.

"Ate, are you okay na?" Nag aalalang tanong ni Vincent. I smiled at him and nod. "Buti naman, we're worried sick when Elise called us. Bakit hindi mo sinabi saamin? We should've been more careful." He added. "It's okay. I'm okay. Stop worrying, Vincent." Nilibot ko ang aking mga mata and my eyes landed on that man- sitting on the edge of the bed with teary eyes.

"Alexander." Agad naman niya kong dinaluhan "Yes, love? May gusto ka ba? Do you need water?" Sunod sunod naman niyang tanong pero nanatili akong nakatingin sakanya. Minimemorya ang mukha. After what he'd done, how can my heart still beats for this man? "Are you still dizzy? Please talk to me." Nag alalang saad niya. "I'm okay. I just need to rest. You can all go home and rest specially you." They hesitated at first but stood up, said their goodbyes and left the room, eventually. Even Sandro.

"So, what now sis?" Kuya Keifer said. "Don't tell me you will still stick with him after what he had done." He knows I would. "As long as the result hasn't come out." Sagot ko. I know, he's just worried but I can't deny Sandro's rights as the father to our unborn child.

"Alyssa Faith." Sabi ni kuya Keifer habang nakatingin ito ng diretso saakin. "Please, kuya. Just this once. I know what I'm doing." Pagpupumilit ko naman. "I hope you really do 'cause I won't give a flying fuck even he's the President's son and you know that." I know. I know it very well but this is not about me anymore.

Ilang minuto lang siyang nanatili sa kwarto saka naman siya nag paalam na may halong magbabanta.

Mom and dad left earlier. They have things to do and they couldn't push that up.

Kristina stayed and still silent after everyone left. She just looked at me straight in the eye. I know she has many questions but stayed silent instead.

"Ask away, Kristina. Don't look at me like that." She sighed and stood up. Palakad lakad siya sa harapan ko.

Just like me, hindi din siya mapakali. There is a big possibility the DNA test will be positive but here we are still praying for a miracle.

"You know, there's 85% that the test will come out positive, right?" Iniwas ko ang aking tingin sakanya and another sigh escaped her lips. "I should let the others know about this so we can gear up on what will happen next." I tried stopping her but no one can stop her this time.

Good Lord, please make a miracle. I need you. I know this is selfish but I need you to make a miracle 'cause I don't know what will happen to me.

I opened the T.V to know what's happening after what happened this morning in the airport.

"Mr. President, totoo po bang nabuntis ni Congressman Sandro Marcos ang anak ni Mayor Rafael Romero? Ano po masasabi niyo dito? Kumusta na po si Doc Alyssa?" Sunod sunod na tanong mga media sa Presidente.

"We want to release a statement regarding that once the result come out. Malaki na si Sandro, he knows what he's doing and Alyssa is doing fine. My wife is currently on the way to her. Thank you very much for your time." I saw the PSGs escorting the President going in the Malacañang. I turned off the T.V.

After few minutes, we heard people gushing outside, I guess the First Lady Louise Marcos is here.

"Hija." Bungad ni tita pagpasok niya sa kwarto. I gave my best smile to her. "Are you okay? Do you need anything? I brought fruits in case you crave for something." Her secretary put down the basket full of fruits on my bedside table. I can't help but to smile to her sweet gestures.

I can see worry plastered to her beautiful face while looking at me as if she's checking. "Tita, really, I am okay. No need to worry." I assured her.

"Kristina, when will we get the results?" She suddenly asked Kristina. Kristina got into her senses and answered her.

"Hija, please be strong. I want you to be strong. Whatever the results, I know Sandro will still choose you over her." That's the thing tita, if the results came out positive, Sandro has to make his choices and he can't choose both.

I just smiled at her and assured her again. Few minutes after, she also left. She has things to deal with.

"Girl, the gang will be visiting you tomorrow. Rest now Faith. We'll deal with this slowly. Take care of your health. If you need anything, you know what to do." Kristina said at iniwan na din ako.

I was scrolling through my social media and I see a lot of Maritess. Gahd. Hindi talaga mawawala tong mga to. Lalo na sa politika. People already jumped into their own conclusions without fact checking.

I decided to not stress myself that's why I deactivated some of my accounts. I should be more careful with my actions sabay haplos sa aking tyan.

Baby, I will make sure you will be well taken care of. Kapit ka lang, matatapos din to.

Vincent's POV:

"Akalain mo yun HAHAHAHA." Kanina pa tong kuya Matt na to. "Dalawa na panganay mo, Sandro." Gago, problemado na nga 'yung tao, nakuha pang asarin. Tsk.

"Shut up Matt. You're not helping." Kuya Matt still didn't stop teasing kuya Sandro.

Kuya Luis and kuya Alfonso already went back to Ilocos and we stayed. Baka kasi may mangyari ulit. Hindi lang naman iisa ang kapatid ni ate Aly. May tatlong lalake pa kaming kakaharapin ay este si kuya Sandro, back up lang kami. Hehe.

"Tang ina, muntik na akong matae kanina nung nakita ko si Keifer." Sabi ni kuya Micheal. Tawa nalamang kami 'cause samedt. HAHAHA

"Akala ko hindi na tayo makakalabas ng buhay sa hospital kanina. Sinimulan ko pa namang mag text sa asawa ko na maghanda ng magarbong burol para saakin." Saad naman ni kuya Borgy. Hindi talaga mawawala mga kagagohan ng mga to kahit may problema which is good to make the atmosphere lighter.

"Hindi pa tayo pwedeng mamatay, single pa sila Simon and Vincent HAHHAA." Napatingin naman ako kay kuya Matt sa sinabi niya. "Who told you I'm single?" Ngisi ko sakanya which makes everyone look at me even kuya Sandro na lugmok na lugmok kanina.

"What do you mean, Vincent?" Simula ni kuya Simon na kanina pa tahimik. I just shrugged my shoulder at tumingin nalamang saaking cellphone.

They keep asking questions who is the lucky girl but I just smiled at them. Wala silang makukuha saakin kahit mamatay pa ako ngayon HAHAHA.😌

I hope my tahanan already ate her dinner. Napangiti naman ako sa naisip. Tahanan. My home.
